INTRODUCTION
In every organisation management is very important so that profit of the business can be
increased. Management helps in developing proper coordination in the business so that effective
functioning of the business can take place. It helps in avoiding conflicts in the business in the
tourism\ and hospitality industry proper management helps in providing best services to the
customers. Managers and leader helps in guiding their employees so that their performance can
be enhance and productivity of the business can be improved (Moghddam, 2020). Tourism
industries helps in providing the best services to the tourist so that revenue of the company can
be enhanced in the economy. Proper management done by the managers in the business helps in
developing the growth of the company in the economy. In this report the chosen module is HRM
Gibbs models will be used to analyse the experience of the managers so that they can improve
their performance so that they can achieve their goals effectively in future.

This department helps in recruiting the best employees in the business so that performance
and revenue of the business can be enhanced. It helps in increasing the proficiency of the
employees so that best output can be given to the customers in the marketplace. This
department helps in resolving the issues of the employees so that healthy working
environment can be created in the business. Human resource department is basically an
strategy of connecting the capacity of individual with the objectives of the firm to drive and
improve efficiency. There are various functions of HR like employing, enrolling, and
overseeing workers. A human asset that is effective requires numerous services of the
organization, including the organization of security and wellbeing and the hierarchical
culture. The human resources assumes an essential part of affecting the hierarchical culture
inside the business premises (Rahimnia, 2020). Building up organization principles,
systems, and rules permits the representatives to know and learn worthy practices and
practices at work environment premises. Providing the healthy working environment to the
employees helps in increasing their performance level so that profitability of the business
can be enhanced in the marketplace. I was working in the organisation as the human
resources manager i have experienced various new experiences in the business like taking

interviews of the employee understanding their thought and views I have observed various
innovative ideas to the employees so that I can understand the skills which the candidate
have so that best candidate can be selected in the business. Testing and analysing the skills
of the employees is very important for the long term survival of the business because if the
managers will not hire the well skilled employees in the business then it can affect the
productivity of the business in the marketplace. It was my responsibility to hire the best
employees in the business so that growth of the business can take place in the economy with
the help Gibbs reflective cycle helps in providing the various learning experience. I always
supported the employees in the business so that goals of the company can be achieved
effectively. Supporting the employees in the business helps in enhancing the confidence of
the employees. I have provided the best guidance to the employees so that they can give
their best in the assigned task. In the organisation there are various issue which the
employee can face in the business so it is very important for the employee. There are
various challenges which i have to face like change management. Development of
leadership etc changes in the management can create various issues in the business on the
basis of which various strategies has to plan by the business so that smooth functioning of
the business can take place in the market. managing the workforce in the business is the
biggest challenge which the human resource managers has to face in the business to resolve
the issue in the business helps increasing the goodwill of the business because if the
conflicts will be there in the business then it can affect the services of the business due to
human resources management is responsible for the managing the employees because they
helps in generating income for the business in the economy (Williamson, 2020).
GIBBS REFLECTIVE CYCLE MODEL (1988)
Gibbs' Reflective cycle model is utilized in different circumstances and is helpful in
assessing it. Reflection is utilized to improve understanding and verification of training
based learning. It is viewed as a significant instrument to use after basic events have leaped
out to help professionals and allowed understudies to think about experiences and make new

English teacher Graham Gibbs in 1988. The objective of Gibbs' intelligent model is to loan a

my experience of Human resource manager in the business. there are six stages in this model
which are given below:
Description: In this stage I will discuss the situation which i have faced as an HR As
an HR have to face various issues related to the interest and skills of the employees
because identifying the best skills among the candidates is very important to select
the deserving candidate in the business because if i will select the unskilled
employees then it can affect the performance of the business in the marketplace due
to which company can face loss in the economy. It was very difficult for the me to
select the best candidates among the other well skilled employees because sometimes
it happens that we have two candidates of best skill but we have to select the one in
the business. I have to observe the skills of the employees properly so that i can take
the effective decision in the business and can provide the talented employees to the
business.
Feeling: In this step feeling of individual is discussed related the situation which is
faced by the individual. As i have discussed selecting the one from the two talented
candidates was very difficult because rejecting the candidates for no reasons is very
painful but unfortunately I have to take decision as per the rule of the business.
because organisation cannot the huge number of employees in the business they have
to hire the employees as per the talent so that they can enhance the performance of
the business (Hamayun, 2020). emotional stability in the individual is very important
so that they can take right decision in the business without affecting their feelings if
the individual will not be emotional stability then they cannot take effective decision
which can affect the growth chances. Feelings of the individual should not affect
their professional life.
Evaluation: In this event i will evaluate the experience which i have faced in order to
judge whether it was good or bad. I have to take difficult decision in the business
due to which it was not a totally good experience for me. Because affecting the

feeling of the deserving candidates was very heart breaking but i have to take the
decision so that proper result can be provided to the business. Judging the skills of
the candidates is not an easy task there are various situation which we have to create
to check the confidence level of the employees. Sometime there were some
communication issue with the employees due to which making them understand the
requirement of the business was not easy. But getting the view of the different
candidates was interesting because it helped me also to increase my knowledge an
skills in the business so that i can become expert in my skills and activities.
Analysis: In this step i will discuss what i have learned from the experience which i
have faced. I need to become emotionally stable in the business because it helps in
increasing the career growth. I have learnt how to make effective decision in difficult
situation (Zhao, 2020). I need to improve my communication skills more so effective
communication can take place with the candidates so that i can understand their view
properly and can identify their talent more effectively so that business can get the
talented employees in the business. For achieving my goals i need to develop few
skills so that achieve success in the future.
Conclusion: From the above experience i have faced various challenge as an HR in
the organisation because i was responsible for recruiting the employees in the
business due to which i have to take various decision by keeping my feeling aside so
that given task can be completed properly. if i will take decision with the feeling then
i cannot achieve my goals in the future. Sometime if was difficult for me to reject the
deserving candidate but as per the policy i have to do it. So that targets of the
business can be met properly. But i have also has positive experience because i
have to deal with different thought and ideas every day which helps in developing
positivity in me due to which i have developed the confidence to perform more
effective in the work which is given to me. There are few skills which i need to
develop as an HR managers so that in future i can achieve success and growth. Skills
of the individual helps in creating the positive image of the people infront of other it
helps in increasing the confidence of the individual due to which they does not
hesitate while performing their duties and given their best (Hsien-Yu, 2020).

Action plan: In this step there are various skill which i need to develop to achieve my
future goals. Like communication skills I will develop my communication skills by
reading various journal and new paper so that i can communicate properly with the
other person without getting hesitated it will also boost my confidence level. I also
need to become emotional stability so that i future if i face the same situation again
so i can take proper decision without affecting my feelings. I also need to develop
the decision making skills because it will helps me in taking proper decision while
selecting the candidate in the business. because selecting the deserving candidate is
not easy when you have many other skilled employees in the business. selecting one
out of them is very difficult due to which i have to enhance my decision making
skills (Bernard, 2020). These are few skills which i need to develop so that i cannot
face any issue while taking the decision in the future if i have to face the same
situation again. HR have to resolve the queries of the employees due to which it is
important for the HR to become more skilled in the business.
CONCLUSION
As per the above report it is analysed that human resource department plays an effective role
in the business they helps in enhancing the performance of the company in the marketplace.
There are various challenges which the human resource management has to face in the
business while performing their assign but there are various strategies which is planned by
them to improve their performance so that there goals can be achieved properly in the
orgnaisation. In this report Gibbs model has been used to analyse the various learning
experiences of the human resource managers so that areas of improvement can be identified
properly developing the proper action plan helps in enhancing the knowledge of the
employees so that growth of the company can be developed and competitive advantage can
be gained.
