If new employees would be hired, then along with them new ideas will arrive in the
workplace. But in the internal source of recruitment such kind of thing is not happening;
thus this will prevent creativity and innovative ideas since old workers are hired in this
case.
Feeling of demotivation or dissatisfaction can get created in the employees who did not
attain any promotion or hike in their salary.
At the same time, all the vacancies of the venture do not get filled completely by hiring
employees from inside the workplace.
An external source of recruitment: In this source, applicants are recruited from outside the
corporation. There are various methods which are used for hiring talented and experienced
personnel. Some of the important sourcess are discussed below:
Campus recruitment: Kingfisher Plc. can arrange a different event at various famous
colleges and universities for hiring suitable candidates or brilliant students.
Tie up with other consultancy firms: The firm can do tie up with some consultancy
companies and can gain workers on regular basis without doing much effort
(Marchington, et. al., 2016).
Direct recruitment: In this method, managers can take the direct interview or arrange to
walk-in interview at their workplace. This will assist in recruiting talented personnel as
per the vacant designations.
Strengths:
This will decrease the overall number of unemployed people from the nation.
These methods offer various career opportunities to the outer world and those people who
are requiring a job.
Here, no discrimination would be carried on any ground like relations, friends, gender,
age, color, race, religion, caste, etc.
Weaknesses:
This process would consume more time in recruiting personnel as managers have to go
here and there in search of appropriate candidates.

A huge amount of money will also get invested since the company has to arrange various
kinds of recruitment events at different places.
