Some of the major leadership challenges together with the practical process that is aimed
to be followed are highlighted in the following section.
Adjustment to the role- one of the biggest challenge as the operational manager has been to
ownership of the roles. It has been particularly difficult for the management of those employees
who have been working closely as the peers and have personal relationships outside
employment. Instructing and leading the team of employees who have been working with the
organization is one of the major challenge since most of them becomes stubborn to accept the
words of the new comer manager.
Practical process – One of the effective practical process that can be executed with the
adjustment of the roles of the operation manager towards the leadership of the old and the
stubborn employees includes the following (Kumar, 2018). It is essential to teach them regarding
their feedbacks. This would help the employees to be more comfortable with the other team
members and the operation manger regarding the scenario when they are willing to address any
if the issue that they have noticed. One of the practical process including the duty of the
operation manager is to remind the employees that the constructive feedback regarding the
workplace culture of Dominoes is not negative, but will help as an manager to reach them with
full potential and efficiency.
The micro managing process- It is an undeniable fact that the role of the operations manager to
coach and support the team helps them to perform their best abilities (Gerhardt et al., 2018).

and their team members (Reid & Borchers, 2016). The lack of proper communication is one of
the major challenge in the leadership management that needs to be addressed for being
transparent with the employees of the operation team of Dominoes.
Practical process – It is essential for the operation manager of the organization to find the way
for frequent communication of his plans and strategies with the team of the employees for
guiding them. Initiation of two way conversations with the team members will also be beneficial
for helping the leader and the team for understanding the expectations. Communication will also
help in the delivery of quality services to the customers of Domino’s pizza.
