INTRODUCTION
Human resource management in concerned with the recruiting and selecting the potential
candidate who is having an integrated set of skills for performing their giving job role with the
consideration of attaining organisational goal. They are also responsible for training and
development of the employees so that they can enhance the weak areas of the workforce. In
addition to this, HR manager is also responsible for performance management reward
management and workforce planning so that they can ensure the smooth functioning of each
department with the consideration of establishing a good brand in the market (Way and et.
al.,2018). National health service is the chosen organisation for this report, It is the publicly
funded healthcare systems of the United Kingdom and there are three system which make this
organisation (NHS in England, NHS Scotland and NHS Wales). It is founded in 1958 and
operating their business in the large segment. This report will cover the importance and practices
of HRM and how they are related to the the organisational behaviour in solving the management
issues. It will also evaluate the nature of leadership and their various approaches with their
strength and weakness. Moreover, it will explain the concept of organisational behaviour and
how it influence the working behaviour in an organisation. It also explain the role of IHRM and
their impact on global organisation.

Critically analyse the practices of HRM and their important in an organsiation and how it can be
related to the organisational behaviour in solving the business issues and various
challenges for the better performance of the company.
Employees are the backbone for every organisation and human resource play and important
role in resource in the potential candidate so that they can perform their given task in an
approached manner (Zaychenko, Smirnova and Kriukova, 2018). Human resource play an
important role in resource in the organisation as they are the one who run the whole operation
with the consideration of attaining higher profitability and growth. In context of National Health
Service, HRM plays an important role that is discussed as follows:
Importance of HRM
Hire the employees who are easily adopt the change: Human resource manager must
emphasize on selection process so that they can have the potential candidate who can

make them all rounder by which we can easily adopt the change and sustain in the
business for a longer period of time.

profitability of the company.
Effective HRM planning: human resource manager is responsible for do the workforce
planning in order to to fill the vacant post in an organisation and ensure that the sufficient
number of employee are working within the organisation so that hire productivity can be
gained in the business enterprises.
Retention and Motivation: it is important for every organisation to motivate their
employees so that they can work in an effective manner and feel valued by which they
can retain in the organisation for a longer period of time (Wehi and Lord, 2017). Human
resource manager conduct the various motivation campaign and rewards in order to
motivate their employees.
To resolve conflicts: Human resource management is concerned with the establishing a
positive environment within the organisation this setup effective structure by which each
employee is known with their duties and responsibilities and maintain a good relationship
with their colleagues which reduce the conflicts among them.
