Identification of problems / issues for the business and
their impact over business current/future plans
Certain problems or issues that TULIP is facing as follows:
The internal problem identified within the business is that only senior
management are getting bonuses regardless of the business performance
and none of the other employees are getting anything in terms of bonuses
of higher pay.
As the business is based locally within UK only, Tulip has undermined the
proposal to set up call centre at overseas locations. Tulip is not
considering the views of other shareholders that is, Fiona and George.
This indicates that decisions are taken on the wish and desires of an
individual and others opinions are never taken into account.
In case of TULIP, the same condition do not proved to be true as the
management of the call centre comprises those known to the senior
management of TULIP and this is a big issue for the sustainability of this
division and overall business of the TULIP.

budgetary issues in terms of providing for

management which motivates them to work hard and stay connected with the
organization.
TULIP needs to hire experienced and well educated professional for the higher
positions and authority within the organization in order to improve the
managerial decision making process of the company.
Currently, the company has to incur extra cost with respect to the training and
development of employees as the current employees do not want to work with
the company because of the low wages.

CONCLUSION
From the above present includes STEEPLE as well as SWOT analysis for the purpose of identifying
the key issue related to the management of TULIP.
It has been identified with the help SWOT analysis that the company faces problems with internal
management such as retaining the existing workforce, increased cost of training and development cost
and a number of customers are in line with the company to cancel the membership and also faces
consumer complaints.
