INTRODUCTION
Human resource management HRM involves all the effective management through which
the strategical approach can be made towards the organisation and the people in order to gain
advancement in business and in various sectors so that the performance of the employees in the
company can be strategically increased. It helps out to serve from various challenges and in order
to outgrow in all the sectors that are being made important in order to carry out the objective and
target of the company (Chemuturi, and Chemuturi, 2020). Manager in the HRM helps out to
overcome all the issues and challenges in try to maintain a proper recruiting staff through which
the employees keens to be motivated. The organisation chosen for this report is Farmbox
company It is a fresh food delivery company which serve in Cheshire UK. They use to connect
with all customers online and deliver their fresh food which they grow in their farmland. As in
the time of Covid the business has been increased due to rapid growth that has been seen that
number of staff and hiring of the employees has been increased so as to maintain the productivity
of the business but with that there has been faced various complaints regarding the incomplete
work, unskilled employees and also about the poor management style. This company faces an
issue regarding an improper training that is being given to the employees and also about not
overlooking about the existing staff members working area. This report will cover all the issues
that has been faced by the company and with that the method through which the productivity can
be increase in all such issues can be aligned out.
MAIN BODY
Defining HRM recruitment and selection models and theories.
HRM provides a proper recruitment and selection process which is an important
operation in any of the company and organisation as it helps out to enhance the employs strength
through which all the goals and the mission of the companies can be achieved. This is mainly
being done by the screening, sourcing and also by selection of right candidate for all the position
that as being required in the company. It helps out to deal with all the proper process and through
which the scope that helps out to improve the working area so that the hiring in the resources can
be maintained(Keene, and Stelson, 2017). All this process helps out to maintain the proper
requirements in the firm through which the employs helps out to reduce the cost and work

efficiently so the company will get greater benefit through all such applicability and means.
Farmbox is mainly using two types of models through which they tend to increase their staff
behaviour and productivity of the organisation which are Michigan framework and AMO theory
as these theories are being applied in order to increase the performance of the company and to
enhance the work culture in a better way They are being described as follows:
Michigan framework: This model helps out to maintain various business strategies that are
being important in order to structure a proper HRM through their various four steps that are
selection, appraisal, reward and development (Ntui, 2017). As it helps out to maintain the
functioning of employees development and also to conduct a proper diversification through
which the impersonal Framework and investment can be framed out. As with Farmbox this
model covers five important stages through which the employees can be managed for the
organisational strategies they are as below:
Selection: Farmbox try to select a proper end a well-qualified employee who has an
ability to perform and evaluate all the goals that are important in the business.
Performance: The company tries to maintain all the components of human resource
through which evaluate the performance of the employee who is being working in the
company by the working area in the abilities of a skilled manner. Farmbox should try to
implement in closely evaluate all the performance of the employees being working in the
company and by giving them proper training sessions and also an induction through
which they can able to know about the work criteria and also the goals.
Appraisal: Farmbox tries to give rewards and motivation to their employees who had
worked in skill manner and has performed in various ways that helps out to enhance the
performance and the organisations image in the market.
Rewards: All the employees tends to get the rewards for the positive and the better
performance the idly by maintaining the customer satisfaction and also by calculating all
the practices through which the business can be outgrown (Scott, and Townend, 2018).
Development: Through this method the company try to analyse all the changes in the
required skills for their employees so as they can lead to maintain the growth of the
company and also in evaluating the skills and performance of the company in and

This theory depends on the three important independent system of work which helps out
to shape the characteristics and also the contribution of the organisation by the help of employs.
It covers the companies interest and also the system through which the ability of working areas

Ability: this out groans that all the employees should increase their ability to perform in
the company and organisation in a better way so as to reach out the targets And the
methods which helps out to increase the performance of the company and to achieve the

employees and also give them training so as to increase their performance.
Motivation: All the organisation should tend to provide proper motivation to their
employees regarding the daily work life and also about the targets and the goals that have
to be achieved in the strategical market approach. As Farmbox needed to maintain a
proper strategical approach through which they try to maintain the high performance of
the company by motivating their employees towards the working area and also to both
the systems in which they are working for the customer satisfaction.
Opportunity: The company should tend to provide a proper opportunity to the company’s
employees so that they may lead to provide a proper management tool so that can help
out to impact the performance of the workers who are being working and also to skilled
out the high enhancement of the working area to organisational success and also by

Positive aspects:
Cost effective: this method helps out to emphasise as a cost-effective process as there is
no expenses can be made on various training and development sections through which
the money can be saved in the minimal cost from which the management can be
monitored for the employees performance can be framed out (Katzman, and Kinsella,
2018). As Farmbox tries to give the training to their new employees by the help of their
old working employees did somehow save their money from implementing various
training sessions.
Speedy decision-making: as this process involves a one-way communication through
which all the decision are being made by the senior most management and the managers
tend to take all such important decisions which are important for the company and for the
future growth and there has been given no authority to any of the employs to maintain
their contributory advice for the decision making process so this is mainly frame to take a
quick decision for the company accessing.
Leading quality: As this there by generated all the manner through which the employees
will feel to in grow their abilities and also the managers have all the powers they try to
implement the proper material approach and leads the decision as according to their
means. It serves out to frame all the knowledge and the issues that are being framed in it
and it created a method through which the work is there by being made and framed in a
better manner

development or not being skilled so this somehow demotivate all the employees will be
working in the company and also frame them to work in a no consideration. As Farm box
did not actually provide a proper training session to their Employees and they used to
give training by their yeah existing staff members through which they used to be a delay
in the work of the staff members. Absenteeism: Most of the staff members used to get affected as because of the
dissatisfaction that has been laid out in the working area. And this also affected
employees of Farm box as they were willing to shift on switch the job. Ineffective recruitment: This model source out to promote recruitment without the
capabilities of the employees to do that work and there is no training and proper
recruitment selection method that is being given by it. This majorly affects the Farm box
as they were thereby affected by all those procedures and capabilities as of being an
aware about the working manner.
Amo model
Positive aspects
This model helps out to maintain a discretionary effort with a positive attitude in the
organisational performance. Through which it used to cover all the important
opportunities and motivation that are being important in the selection criteria of employee
(TONGKAEW, and Pasunon, 2019).
It helps out to frame opportunities that the organisation and the employees can take by
ensuring proper skills in the behaviour with a participative manner in through the
supervision that can help out to increase the employees to maintain their work with the
decision making process in the organisational goals.

human resource through which the organisation can get the profitable environment in
their performance and external forces.

This model does not promote any kind of recruitment process through which a proper
hiding in the company can be implemented or the areas that should be taken care of
regarding the working areas of any employees.

provided a proper training sessions to their staff members which is being reflected in the working
area and with that they used to give the training from their extreme existing staff members which
thereby affects their working hours in the method of working. The company should try to
maintain a proper training programmes for all of their new employees and make them well aware
about the goals and objectives of the company. They try to make them work in a proper manner
and also motivate them towards the working area by giving them proper rewards and incentives.
This will help out the company To gain the advancement in their employment and also to frame
out the challenges that they are being facing earlier other than that they may apply the Best HRM
practice model which helps out to maintain the business strategy and also the proper check on
the employees can be made with a competitive advantages in it it covers out certain steps they
are like:
Employment security: All the employees working in the company should get a proper
security while working over there this will create a confidence in them to work with that
company and helps it to achieve the goals.

Selective hiring: A proper selection methods with appropriate test should be made by the
managers so that the employees who are being hired for the company are being well
skilled and aware about their responsibilities.
Performance: The Company should closely overlook all the performance in the high
compensation based of the employs and also leads to make them skilled and efficient
towards the work.
Self managed teams: It can be managed which will help out to make them work together
and also to frame it effectively in the working area (Mulhall, O’Connor, and
Timulakova, 2019).
Training: Farm box should tries to give proper training sessions to their new and existing
employees. This will help out to maintain the growth of the company and also to make
the work done in an efficient manner.
Equality: All the employees should be treated equally and there should not be any
discrimination on the part of company.
Sharing information: Company should try to make their employees take part in all
effective decision making and all the transparency in the company should be maintained

managing and recruiting people for various business practises. It provides proper selection and
recruitment methods which serves out to outgrow the company. Michigan framework helps out
to increase the selection and performance on the basis of their model whereas AMO model
provides the motivation and opportunity in the employs. In order to access all the appropriation
there should be made a proper training sessions for the employees who are being working in the
company and the existing employees should also be motivated with various incentives and
awards.
