INTRODUCTION
Portfolio is defined as compilation of materials that includes qualifications, skills,
experiences, education and training of an individual. In addition to this, it is basically a sample of
career related experience and skills that should be presented in creative style (Bushuyev and
Verenych, 2018). Portfolio development is important for an individual in order to get job as per
their skills and experiences. It also provides an insight into personality as well as work ethic. The

that is prepared to apply for a specific job role.
I have completed my degree program in business management and is looking forward to
apply for the job role of manager in human resource management department. HRM is
important to an organization as there are many objectives of this department which can
drastically enhance and impact on the overall performance of an organization. Human resource
professionals are the lifeblood of an organization as their job profile is to ensure that company
gets the most out from it is staff members. It is analyzed by me that I have good knowledge
about human resource department and its functions such as recruiting, staffing, training and
many more. Performing the job within HRM department will help me to apply my skills and get
the best out of it to attain organization objective. In order to achieve this, a professional
development portfolio will be developed by me that involved an effective CV and a cover letter.

behaviour as well. Moreover, by conducting SWOT analysis, I will be able to know about my
