and needs as they are the resources which are mainly responsible for organizational losses and
profits. The report will also discuss the ‘Chocolate Presence’ case because the organization is
providing the greeting cards of chocolate and different flavours of chocolate all around the UK
but by this, some of the issues of HR which are facing by the organization is the problem of high
employee turnover. From this report, this will easy for an organization to effectively understand
HR practices importance because it is beneficial for both employees and organization within
Microsoft organization. Also, the report will discuss the employment legislation and employees
relations importance that will help in enhancing the organizational current performances. The
report will also apply effective HR practices for the improvement in the product quality as well
as effective growth and development of the staff members.

‘Chocolate Presence’ is the rapidly based organization which is based in the North Yorkshire,
that provides the tailor-made chocolates particularly based on the greeting cards presents in all
across the UK. The business owner is the master chocolatier who is excellent in creating the
inspired designs and innovative flavours in chocolates but no experiences of the employment of
an ever increasing in the workforce. However, this is essential to properly assess the HRM
practices purpose and functions in a proper manner (Armstrong and Taylor, 2014).
HRM purpose: HRM is assisting for bringing the organization coordination in the context of
achieving the business objectives specificity. This helps in improving the process use
accomplishment, people and also focusing on the organizational tenets internal parts. In
‘Chocolate Presence’ case the HR professional’s emphasis on strategic and calculation aspects
that is associated by the motivation, communication management and leadership facets which are
predominate within a tenet of their experts of tailor-made chocolate.
HR importance’s in an organization: On the basis of individual the HRM primary mission is to
manage an employee’s experiences effectively during the employment life cycle. Also, the
performances measurement and desired outcomes are carrying out an appropriate purpose for
fascinating the reliable concerns that are being associated with HR managers. By this point of
view, this is essential for ‘Chocolate Presence’ to carry the process of HRM effectively and also
recruit and select the skill and capable employees by HR of the organization (Bratton and Gold,

roles for recruitment, selection, development, rewarding, planning and employees performances
and relationship management. During resourcing and planning of a vacant, they have to focus
particularly on that propel who are enhancing the chocolate product quality and providing the
better customer services.

Home-based assessment strength and weakness: An organization is taking home-based
assessment candidate test in which they are asked a question that is related to English and Maths.
This type of assessment has many strength and weakness for an organization. ‘Chocolate
Presence’ organization is taking a spot testing of an applicant that has a higher chance of
reliability and fairness of information which is provided from a candidate in the testing. In
another side, this assessment is more cost and time consuming for an organization because they
have to give personal attention to every candidate. As this method is, but this gives the correct
information which is received to an organization with cleared points to an organization selection
panel (Farr-Wharton et.al.2017).
Currently, an organization selection method is the home-based assessment in which the HR
officer takes English and Maths test of a candidate for which the candidate has to achieve the
50% marks to pass the test. This methods main weakness is related to the applicant feelings
because sometimes they feel in pressures that effect on their performances. In another side,
current selection methods strength is related to give an assurance of the accuracy and validity of
content. The other weakness of selection methods is that it is that type of an assessment which
required the more cost and time for an organization. But on another side, these types of
assessment use of ability test and work sampling helps in ensuring an organization for getting the
skilled candidate for the organization (Marchington et al., 2016).
