The human resource department of the company has responsibility for managing employee
performance and employee engagement. The project report is based on a company that is Tesco
plc. This is a supermarket that provides vital range of products and services. Its headquarter is at
Welwy garden city, United Kingdom. The below mentioned project report consists detailed
information about aims and objectives and for better understanding Gantt chart and work break
down structure is also created. In addition, various techniques used to gather knowledge and
perform analysis are also discussed.

different culture and background who work within companies. It is essential for the organisation
to maintain effective services to individuals so that they can work within the company in
effective manner. Cultural diversity is known as the working of various employees together who
belong to various race, gender, culture, etc. the different positive impact of cultural diversity at
workplace are increase in the social interaction of employees. Different people coming form
different background and working together is helpful for managing the work properly and
increasing social relation of individuals. Within organisations, there are different type of teams
developed who have to work together for attaining goals. It is important for the company to
manage the teams in effective manner as they work together for attaining organisational goals.
Providing positive environment to employees ad staff is helpful for managing work properly and
increasing employee engagement.

According to Roh, and Kim, (2016), it is essential for management of Tesco that there are plans
for developing perfect strategies and making several benefits for the company. Tesco is an
organisation which is operating in different parts of the world. It is important for this company to
develop competitive advancement strategies for managing working and performance of
employees. It is important to attain organisational goals and objectives. It is properly managed by

opportunities provided to the employees in Tesco so that they are able to manage the work
properly and attain their assigned targets in effective manner. There must be presence of

every individual, no discriminatory policies and there is equality then all these practices lead to

Tesco to conduct a research for maintaining human resource department to maintain
