Reflection on how Twitter impacted your professional development. How do you see it used
in your organization?
Throughout developing a Twitter account, I have developed my understanding that
colleagues are highly under-utilized skilled development resources in school development
and employees often focuses on advantages of developing aside period to collaborate with
staffs. It is also perceived that developing professional links through social networking could
not only outcome in different higher sharing resources and ideas, but also battle sense for
separation that different teaching experiences (Hughes, 2020). I have learned that twitter acts
as a seminar on professional development in the fingertips of 24/7, and ready for describing
educational concerns that helps to me in an effective manner.
I have observed that in my organization, Twitter is used to develop big conversation and all
workforces need to focus on it. This can be performed in the form of both sending the tweets
regarding things on the mind as well as, responding to tweets of others. I have also perceived
that Twitter is used to give and take help in creating a rapport with the followers in my
organization (Jefferis & Bisschoff, 2017). Furthermore, there is a need to participant in
different education-associated twitter chats that could occur each week like #edchat on Friday
at 10 a.m. EST.
Reflection on what you learned from the experience and how your PLN has been affected as
a result of using Twitter.
From my experience, I have learned that the competency to have instant, anytime access to
their PLN as well as, perform spontaneous communication with PLN members is significant
affordances of Twitter. It was taught to me that conversations can deepen the feeling for
connectedness respondents with their PLN and that in turn deepens the associations they have
to the members of their PLN.

I have also learned that the open nature of Twitter and the fact that these communications
happen in open webspace. It is a significant aspect of the application of Twitter within PLN.
Since conversations are transparent to anyone and it could develop open space that permits
the ambient respondents by other individuals. This ambient respondent takes the form of
others "listening in” as well as, observing communications (Tang & Hew, 2017).
Furthermore, I have perceived that quality respondents are significant as these overheard
communications facilitated the chances to learn by observing. This experience will be
implemented by me in upcoming times to make professional growth through Twitter.
Throughout my experience, I have learned that twitter is a significant technique in order to
access the collective understanding of PLN. It is identified that respondents who had a
sizeable network of followers would be competent to take benefits for network effects (Trust,
Krutka, & Carpenter, 2016).
I have learned that Twitter is used to ask their PLN for supporting in another common
practice and a task in which, the advantageous of network effects is becoming apparent. It is
identified that with the high links on Twitter, the higher opportunity, I can receive assistance.
I have also observed that network effect is related to the network principle that evaluates a
network is more valuable and through this, I can create more nodes in that network. It is
identified that sharing and exchanging resources are significant strategies that participants
access to the collective knowledge about PLN using Twitter (Jianqiang & Xiaolin, 2017).
This experience would be executed by me in upcoming times to make professional
development through Twitter.
