INTRODUCTION
To win the battlefield of market, understand the work environment. The human resource
management in the company deals with hiring people, provide training and increases their
potential to deal with the working environment. The importance of HRM is for both the
organisation and the employees. HR department is responsible for managing people and making
them more effective so that they work effectively in organisation. Without having good human
resource practices firm will not be able to perform well. It supports in raising productivity of
business and help in gaining more profit. HR manager hires more talented people and give them
training according to their job role. This thing aids in improving their capabilities which gives
benefit to employer and employee both. Workers get more development and promotional
opportunities and which motivate people and make them positive towards the brand. Human
resource team gives reward to staff members on the bases of their efforts made in organisation.
This is the best way through which enterprise can work with talented and deserving candidates
for longer duration.
Chocolate presence is a company which is involved in manufactures of chocolate. The
company started its work as a small organisation, due to its increasing demand in consumers the
company expands its business in new markets. Furthermore, Microsoft is also taken for this
report which is the American firm that offers advance technologies. It is the public limited
company that manufacture computer software, video games and many more internet services.
The report will study about the different HRM functions and their purpose in chocolate presence.
The Study will include strengths and weaknesses of recruitment and selection in HRM. Putting
lights on the benefits that are availed by the employee and the employer in the chocolate
presence company. Further the study will be done on the effective HRM practices that helps
organisation to achieve its goal. Understanding the employee relationship that influence the

RECRUITMENT: In this process of HRM the suitable candidate is search for suitable
position in the company. In chocolate presence the company is recruiting candidate for
the vacant position in the company. The purpose of company is to achieve overall
company strategy by engaging people. Through recruitment process the company is able
to create talented candidate in the organisation with the help of less investment(Amberg
and McGaughey, 2019). With the help of recruitment process the company can identify
the needs of employee in the company. Recruitment process makes organisation to
understand its present and future needs for the company. The company creates potential
job application for suitable candidates. Recruitment purpose in company is to fulfil the
lawful and the social commitments towards its employees. Company gets the benefits of
the recruitment in forms of talented employees and preserves human capital in the
company.
TRAINING: In HRM training is main tool used to develop the skills in the employee.
Training leads employee to learn and get knowledge of work about their specific job
position. Training for different objective are different from other job position in the
company. Training can be given on technical, quality, skill, soft skills, professional
training, team training (Blanco-Mazagatos, de Quevedo-Puente and Delgado-García,
2018). Training can be given through following different methods of training like job
rotation, on the job training, job monitoring. Through training-and-development the
chocolate presence company become cost conscious and can increase its budget in
training. The company purpose is to get efficient employee which will help the company
to grow efficiently and production will be on time without any waste. Training assesses
the potential that is present in the employee which becomes the part of the company.
Company invest in training because untrained employees decreases the potentiality in the
organisation as compared to the trained employees(Gladys, Grace and Denis, 2018).

employees in the company(Haleem, Kumar and Luthra, 2018). The purpose of the

company. Performance appraisal is needed in the company to know the employee
background which helps to assess the on the basis true work to the company without any
cheating or breaking the laws of the company (Suharti and Sulistyo, 2018)..

candidate because if the candidates holds innovative ideas then it gives the best efforts to meet
with such particular goal of the business unit.
Recruitment and selections: It is an essential HRM practices, which done by the human
resources management to placing an employee in right job at right time. Microsoft prefers
external recruitment source to hire the fresh talent in the organization. Management has to
prepare job advertisement and description to conduct interview(Mol-Gómez-Vázquez, Cánovas
and Llorens, 2018). After that they have to select best candidate as an employee in the
