The business organizations can recruit the most effective, efficient & suitable employees for
conducting the business with the help of both the internal & external process of recruitment.
Internal recruitment: When the organizational vacancies are being filled up by the business
managers from its internal workforce, is called the process of internal recruitment. Following are
the appropriate methods of internal recruitment, along with their advantages & disadvantages:-
Promotion: This method is used to fill up the higher level of position with the
experienced workers already working in the business organization. As because the
business managers work with their employees, they already know about the effective
capabilities of the employees.
Internal Advertisement: Any other vacant business position can be recruited with the
internal efficient employees by giving them the notice on the bulletin boards or the
informative memo can also be sent to them (Lotich, 2014).
Temp to Hire: Those employees who were being recruited for the temporary job in the
business on the basis of full time, this process is called as the “temp to direct” or “temp to
hire”. The full time recruited temporary employees to involve the increasing working
hours, maximum responsibilities & also the higher amount of payment.
Hiring a Retired Employee as a Contractor: All the retired employees are very much
experienced & they know how difficult organizational situations can be managed
effectively & efficiently. Therefore, hiring these retired employees as the business
contract worker is simple & beneficial in against of recruiting the new ones (Gerard,
2018).
Advantages:-
The business structure is being known by the employees & also they have the great
experience.
The strong trust & relation between managers & employees.
The growth of employees gets enhanced within the organizational business.

Disadvantages:-
A large number of conflicts can be increased among all the organizational employees.
This method can limit the available choices for efficient & innovative employees.
In order to replace the person, the organization needs to hire someone very effective
(Gish, 2018).
External recruitment: When the vacancies of the organization are being filled up by the
effective & efficient applicants from outside the business organizations, this is called as the
external form of recruitment. Following are the methods of the external recruitment process:-
Job Boards: Posting the vacancies of the job can be shown on the top of the job boards.
It includes the detailed description of the vacant job including the “applicant tracking
system” for determining which person applied for the job.
Social Media: The interaction level can be build up on the social & online websites, for
finding out the external efficient candidates.
Website: The vacant jobs can also be advertised on the websites among a large number
of effective candidates. The best choice can be chosen from the larger available options
(Gish, 2018).
Referrals: The most efficient candidates can be referred to the owners & managers of
business organizations. Hence, the past relations are very necessarily to be maintained.
Advantages:-
The new & creative innovation can be enhanced including efficient skills.
The favorable competition can be enhanced.
The politics can be reduced in the internal organizational structure.
Effective & efficient growth can be enhanced.
Disadvantages:-
The understanding of the organization may seem to be very limited.
Involves the increased cost along with higher risk & also very time-consuming.
Internal conflicts can be increased with the existing employees.
