INTRODUCTION
Added tools that help in learning and teachings are known as Learning Resources. This
resources are books , journals, workbooks, notes and handouts and educational games. This
resources help individual in getting new knowledge and enhancing existing knowledge. This
report includes purpose of all these resources and ways in which these resources can be classified
and how these resources can help individual to improve in their area of specialization. At present
resources like software and online books are being equally used as physical books and resources.
Human resources management (HRM) is area of specialization that has been taken in this report
and teaching skills are also discussed which are required to teach HRM effectively. Further file
also includes development of resources individual can be use for teaching as trainee lecturer.
These resources are in form of notes and handouts and visual aids that aid in learning for students
and also helps professor to enhance their knowledge.
Task 1
1.1 Purpose of Resources in Learning and Teaching
Resources like books and developed notes work as aid in learning. These not only aids in
learning but also sometimes is essential to use for purpose of comprehension and retention of
learning. Comprehension refers to understanding of individual abut learning and retention refers
to how long individuals are able to remember which have been learned by them. Comprehension
and retention are very essential if individuals wants to grow in personal and professional life.
Without comprehension and retention learning will become useless and wastage of time and
resources. For instance- using visual aids while teaching will help students to undersatnd the
concept fast and better. Which could have been less if they only hear what is being said ny the
professor.
Other important purpose of these resources is reference, students and teachers can use
learning and teaching resource as reference to each other. Many times two concepts that seems
similar but are different can create confusion in students and teachers, this confusion can be
removed if resources of teaching are available.

basis for assessment. So that teachers can correctly assess and evaluate learning of students.

someone wants to study arts and political science will not have to search resources in any other

Educational level which is classified in Primary Education, Secondary Education and
Post- secondary Education. Resources to learn and teach at all these level are different and that

improving communication, using correct vocabulary is also essential and for that one take use
resources such as dictionary physical and digital. This enables individual to have command over
language even if that is not one's spoken language and ultimately makes an individual a good
communicator. Communication skills are helpful in HRM and hence lecturer who teaches this
subject should also have good communication skills.

of learning. Worksheets which are like fill in the book report have advantages like, worksheets
bridge the gap between watching and doing and also help in teaching students hoe they can learn
from text books. But there are also some disadvantage of worksheet is that these does not teach
anything new and check only what students already know. Other disadvantage of worksheets is
that they do not allow thinking something of high level and students keep doing what they already
know. Power point which is digital resource of learning have advantages like easy and quick
presentation and re-read presentation. This form allows to re read presentation which already have
been given. Disadvantages of Power point are that it can create confusion and misunderstanding if
image and content are not balanced. Other disadvantage of Power point is that it requires speaker
to be very good speaker who can elaborate all the content otherwise presentation can get
meaningless if not understood by audience and students.

being designed they should be able to meet learning needs of students. They should have these
characteristics that are, clear, moderate difficulty level, understandable. Only then developing
resource will be successful. Should be based on and include what students need to learn.
VAK- VAK model describes learning preference of individual on the basis of three main
sensory receivers which are visual, auditory and kinesthetic. Which respectively means learning
through seeing, learning through listening and learning through doing. No one learns from any

developed should be such that individual having any type of preferred learning style can learn
from that resource or should be developed after researching about which is style is dominant in

Example; while video conferencing my body language is not good, I am weak in the expatiation
of learning apps study material, my paper notes are some tough to understand etc. So, in the future
I will try improve my these all weaknesses (Cordingley, 2015). Suppose my body language is not
good during video conferencing, so I will try to maintain good and effective body language in the
future. My explanation is also not much good on the learning apps material, so I will try to
practice good explanation of these type of study material which are helps to my learners for better
understanding the particular topic. Another weakness is my notes are not easy to understand, their
human resource is need to implement use of the latest technological resources in their work place

behind intellectual property rights is to protect any creator's work from those people which
use others work as own and try to put own name label on the original creator's work.

owners of the any particular intellectual property.
2. HSWA 1974 : HSWA means Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, which are logical and
meaningful authority for the regulation, encouragement and enforcement of the workplace
health and safety. This act is responsible to secure the health and safety of the any person

between the employees and employers, and also try to remove such negative elements
from the workplace with the help of legal authority.

of the work was put their many efforts and hard work to invent that particular work, so all need to

case teachers and students hardly needs to use any other's work, in this situation they are need to
give credit to the original creator or worker for that particular work (Frost and Walsh, 2016).
Before use other's work all are need to take permission from the original owner of the work. If
