INTRODUCTION
Human resource department of every enterprise perform very functions that play a
significant role in success and growth of firm. One of the main function of HR department is to
hire skilled candidates for perform various job at workplace and manage their actions and
decision in enterprise (Salvendy, 2012). This concept encourage employees to perform their job
in an effective way so company can achieve its set goals and objectives in adequate manner.
Waitrose, situated in UK and have a large chain of supermarkets is consider in present report.
Various practices of HRM and its application in enterprise or in a work related context is given
under this.

that conduct training and development programmes for workers to develop their capabilities and

Adenso-Diaz, 2010). One of the main function which perform of HRM department is to fill the
vacancies at workplace. For this manager first formulate a job specification and description as
this make the manager inform about the abilities which must be there in an individual for
perform a job role. Different methods and sources are there that can be use by manager to
appoint right candidate for a job at workplace. It is very significant to to develop and offer
healthy working environment to staff members as this increase their productivity and reduce
worker's turnover. One of the main benefit of HRM is that it support employer in hire right
candidate for right job which contribute in growth of firm.
Job specification: This statement contain various factors related with a job such as major
roles and responsibilities of candidate, require education and skills which are necessary for
perform a job at workplace in adequate manner (Shuck and Wollard, 2010). Further this contain
