growth and the success of an organization. The aim
of the Human resource management is to obtain a

issues that can be faced by the HR such as
workforce planning, employees mental health and
training and development of employees and the
solutions to improvise these problems.

WORKFORCE PLANNING

The workforce management means the day-to-day process or the operational management of an organization. There
are multiple departments in every organization to systematize the process of an organization (Bratton and Gold.,
2017). There are some common challenges of the workforce management which are as follows -
Scheduling and restoring
Scheduling and restoring means that the workforce management design the proper and effective management for the
employees according to the business requirement. The scheduling can be improved by sharing the relevant
information, monitoring the staff and the shift swapping according to the staff requirement.
Time and attendance tracking
The main issue behind the time and attendance tracking is that it is paper based and this results in the dishonesty and
this can be improved by the installing the devices like bio-metric and attendance tracking portal (Cascio., 2015).
Employee self service
The main challenge in tracking the data is that the employees still store it in the paper format and do not use the digital
format to store the data. This requires the proper training of the employees to make them aware about the technology.

The HR department need to keep the record of the employee's health and
the safety. Any miss-happening with employee may reduce the production
of the company. Many companies hire the safety officer to make the
employees aware about health and safety. There are several ways to create
a healthier workplace (Chelladurai and Kerwin., 2018).
Productive Atmosphere
The productive atmosphere is the main factor which attract any employee
towards the workplace and the is the employee is mentally fit and active,
then the employee can contribute in the betterment of the company.
Health and the well-being programs
The companies provide the health insurance to the employees which
includes smoking termination and the weight-loss and some healthcare
programs i.e., therapy sessions, workshops regarding awareness, nap time
or the zones for the employees to make the employees fit and healthy
(Chelladurai and Kerwin., 2018).

There are several reasons to train the staff for their development and make them
aware about the workplace policies (Bratton and Gold., 2017).
Efficiency
Professional training is required to help and improve their knowledge and the skills

The proper training helps to ensure that all the employees have the consistent level
of knowledge and experience (Bratton and Gold., 2017).
