Safety professionals helps in avoiding hazards. They tend to help the workers from avoiding
injury and illness. Thus, they help in reducing absenteeism and leads to better lifestyle and
productivity.
Accidents tends to occur but it is to be noted that most of the accidents can be avoided
and is prevented. If all the employees or the individuals stays determined that they will be
avoiding the accidents, then it can actually be prevented (Zhang et al., 2013). However, in order
to work in a safer environment, it is important for the workers to be aware of the risks and the
dangers that are associated with the work. Training must be provided to the workers of the
organization about the right utilization of materials so that accidents in the workplace can be
avoided. Consciousness is very important in eradicating accidents (Chrusciel et al., 2015). Once
an accident tends to take place, the other must learn from the accident and take correct actions
for the purpose of prevention of those accidents from taking place again. Various researches that
have been conducted indicates the fact that 99 percent of the accidents are something which can
be prevented in the future.
Thus, it can be said that accidents are very much prevented. All the workers and the
safety officials must come and work together in order to avoid accidents in the future and have a
better and a safer working environment which will ultimately lead to better life.
