The National Employee Standards (NES) are the authorisation of workers in Australia under
the fair work Act 2019. This Act generally comes in effect from 1 January 2010. There are
ten exemptions has to be taken or revised of the National Employment Standards, and that is:
1. Maximum Hours on a weekly basis
2. Parental leave and related entitlements.
3. Annual leave
4. Request for flexible working arrangements
5. Community service leave
6. Personal carrier leave and compassionate leave
7. Public holidays
8. Long service leave
9. The fair work information statement
10. Notice of termination and redundancy pay.
