The range of scores have been determined by data using a random-effects model, and results
were expresses in terms of Standardized mean difference (SMD) with 95% Cls. SMD, 0.12;
95% Cl, 0.04 to 0.24 was the HRQoL scores that showed marginally better scores when
compared between home dialysis patients and ICHD patients.
One interpretation may be that the significance of the score differences varies by size,
environment (i.e., treatment, illness, etc.) and experience (patient, clinician, etc.).
Alternatively, the significance of variations in scores in each situation may be the same (i.e.,
a basic standardized metric could be applied to all circumstances and situations). The score is
interpreted as a standardized mean difference.
The measurement tool will show the potential utility of the study.
The measuring tool was effective and justified the title of the article by providing a
meaningful conclusion. The abstract provided is the exact representation of the article. The
introduction of end-stage renal disease and their poor survival has been depicted clearly.
