AI Summary
This report delves into the field of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) by presenting and comparing two distinct interactive designs for a cinema hall organization. The report begins with an introduction to interface design and its significance in system development. Two alternative designs are then presented, each accompanied by detailed wireframes illustrating the user interface. The report provides a description of each design, outlining its functionalities and features. A comparative analysis follows, evaluating the advantages and disadvantages of each design, along with the underlying design principles and usability goals. The report also explores the anticipated user experience for each design. Based on the analysis, a specific design is recommended, with a justification for its selection, considering the targeted users and their activities within the system. The report concludes by summarizing the findings and emphasizing the chosen design's effectiveness for the cinema hall organization. The bibliography provides a list of cited sources.

HUMAN COMPUTER INTERACTION
Introduction
Interface designing is one of the most important processes that are to be performed prior
to the development of any type of information technology system. This is the first step that is
helpful for the developers in development of a system. The developers would try and test the
interfaces with the users. If the interface performs efficiently then only the developers proceed
with the development phase.
The report is concerned with the Cinema Hall Organization and the development of an
efficient interface for the organization. Two alternate designs have been provided for the
organization along with the description and justification for the design. The choice of a design
suitable for the organization has also been included in the report.

Description of the Wireframes
An organization named the Star Cinemas has been used here for the design. The design
consists of five pages with the first page being the Home page where the list of movies are
provided with the option of becoming a member. After the home page there is the login page
where the staffs can log in to the system. In addition to this, the customer can register into the
system using the registration page. The tickets page allow the users to buy tickets for themselves.
Lastly there is the payment page.

Description of the Wireframes
An organization named the Star Cinemas has been used here for the design. The design
consists of five pages and the homepage is the first page in the design. The provides the
information about the movies and the ticket information. The membership option is also
provided in the page. The next page consists of the registration and the login options for the users

payment page.
Reasoning
Advantages of Interactive Design 1
The first design is a simple one and the simplicity of the firs design is its main advantage.
The design is also very attractive and hence the users would be able to perform the operations
enthusiastically on the system.

Advantages of Interactive Design 2
The main advantage of the second design is that the design is very useful and provides
more information to the user. Due to this, the navigation feature of the first design is very useful
and the works more efficiently for the users.
Disadvantages of Interactive Design 1
The main disadvantage of the first design is that the design is too simple and lacks the
ease of use. Many features that provide information are absent from the system. This decreases
the overall efficiency of the system.
Disadvantages of Interactive Design 2
The major disadvantage of the second design is that the design provides too many options
in a single page. The design might sometimes confuse the user and result in the user creating an
error on the system.
Design Principles of Design 1
The design principle of the first design is the attractiveness. The design has made use of a
lot of colors and as a result it attracts the users to a great extent making them want to user the
system.
Design Principles of Design 2
The design principle of the second design is its efficiency. The design is very efficient
and provides everything at a single place for the users. The user navigations are also enabled
efficiently in the system such that the user is able to surf through the system freely without any
problem at all.

Usability Goal of Design 1
The usability of the goal of the first system is create a system which is simple but very
efficient. The system aims at providing the users with a movie ticket as fast as possible without
having to navigate through all the pages present in the system and all feel attracted towards the
system, making them use is more often.
Usability Goal of Design 2
The usability goal of the second system is provide the users with more option at a single
page. The users would not be required to search for the options ,when they can get all the options
within a single page. The second design would be making the use of dynamic functions such as
AJAX that would enhance the overall functionalities of the system for booking a movie ticket.
Usability Experience of user for Design 1
The users of the system would be able to book a movie by directly clicking on the book
movie option. A list of currently available movies are provided to them and they would select the
movie. The system would redirect the user to the payment page. The user can then make the
payment and get the tickets.
Usability Experience of user for Design 2
In the second design the user would be logging into the system and select a movie from
the list of available movies. With system would redirect to the description page and they would
also be allowed to view the trailer for the movie and then they would be redirected to the
payment page once they click the book ticket button.

Recommendation
Selection of specific Design and Justification
It is recommended that the second design is selected for the development of the system.
The first design is very attractive however the design lacks in efficiency. Whereas, the second
design provides all the features at a single place for the user. Additionally, convenient features
such as the payments options and view trailers option are included in the second design.
Targeted Users
The main targeted users for the system are the staffs of the organizations and the
customers.
User Activity
The system would be able to make the movie booking process hassle free for the staffs of
the organization as well as the customers of the organization.
Conclusion
For conclusion it can be said that the second design is more effective for the Star Cinema
organization. This of enhance the reputation of the organization and increase the overall business
efficiency as well the detailed description and justification of which has been included in this
report.
