This report presents a comprehensive heuristic evaluation of the Holmes Learning Management System (LMS). It begins with an introduction to LMS and its importance in education, followed by a detailed user analysis, considering different user roles and their interactions with the system. The report then delves into task analysis, identifying key tasks performed by users, such as progress tracking, reporting metrics, and accessing course materials. A low-fidelity prototype is evaluated, and the report includes an evaluation of the design based on user interviews and questionnaires. Recommendations are provided to improve the system's clarity, user-centered design, consistency, and navigation, ultimately aiming to enhance the overall user experience and usability of the Holmes LMS. The report concludes with a summary of findings and suggestions for future improvements.
