Module 2 Assignment 1
It can be defined as different environmental, organizational, and individual determinants
that influence the functionality of the workforce and behavior of an individual and a team
(Meister, 2018).
The top human factors in a job are cognitive workload, teams and equipment. Such as in
a workplace it is important to focus on the cognitive workload as too much mental effort can lead
to stress and fatigue. Similarly, poor equipment or a working with equipment such as working on
computer for long hours can lead to stress and fatigue and eye weakness. Teams are important as
they help in supporting members in coping different problems (Meister, 2018).
Module 2 Assignment 2
Generally, a person feels fatigue after they work for a long time consistently without
taking any rest. Working while feeling tired, uneasy, sleepy and mental fatigue can lead to
different injuries and accident. When I work while having fatigue, feeling tired and sleepy, I fail
in taking proper decisions and focus on my work let me commit several mistakes (Martinussen &
Hunter, 2017).
The IM SAFE checklist is very crucial in determining whether a person is suitable to
work or not. Suppose a person is on medications for certain issue which would not hamper his
work, then he can continue to work on the task. Though, if the person is ill such as having high
fever, not having the ability to work properly, then he should consider taking rest (Martinussen
& Hunter, 2017).

Module 2 Assignment 3
To help the person who is having anxiety but feels unsafe to speak up, it is important to
understand how anxiety is manifesting in that person. Since the person feels unsafe to speak up,
then initially it is important to become friends with them and help them feel more comfortable
while speaking. Then ask them the best type of support they would prefer. It is important to offer
support but not completely take over and being over possessive. It would not be easy to help the
person overcome their anxiety feeling and speaking problem, but we need to do our best in
supporting them (Butler, 2016).
Module 2 Assignment 4
I have encountered several tricky doors. Just like the Norman door, there are revolving
doors that have the ability to confuse a person (Tenner, 2015). Usually, in a normal life, people
consider human errors as bad luck. Human errors consist of instances where a planned or
unplanned activity fails to achieve the expected outcome. There are several examples such as a
person can overlook his park brakes in the car or misusing the vehicle brakes during a wet and
slimy road (Van Cott, 2018).
Module 2 Discussion
A good video should consist of all models of human errors that can help in determining
the reasons behind why an error has occurred in the past or what are the future liabilities. A good
video should guide the project team in taking actions against the human errors and help in
making the place safer. The video should utilize both person-centered and system-focused
approaches to help reduce the human errors and prevent them.
