AI Summary
This essay argues that human survival in natural biomes is exceedingly difficult, if not impossible, due to the inherent challenges presented by these environments. It focuses on the extreme conditions found in biomes like the Sahara Desert and grassland regions, highlighting the dangers of extreme temperatures, natural disasters such as wildfires and sandstorms, and encounters with deadly wildlife. The essay uses examples such as the deaths of travelers in the Sahara and the impact of wildfires on grassland ecosystems to illustrate the precariousness of human life in these settings. It concludes that the lack of infrastructure, healthcare, and protection from natural threats makes long-term human habitation in such environments unsustainable and often lethal.

INTRODUCTION
Natural Biomes such as desserts of Africa, Grasslands of North and South America and
arctic tundra’s are examples of bio-geographical units possesses intense biological and
geographical characteristics which are not faced by most of human population. Mortal dangers
can affect the living conditions of humans in nature (Menton and Le Billon, 2021). The harsh
conditions of biome make them incompatible to human survival and impossible for humans to
live in nature. In this essay the challenges faced by humans when living in nature which make it
impossible endeavour are explained.
MAIN BODY
Human survival in natural wilderness is extremely challenging, specifically dessert
biomes. Dry environment, little rainfall and high amount of evaporation due to heat makes the
dessert biome difficult for human survival. The Sahara dessert is one of the largest and extreme
dessert biomes. In summer, the temperature in Sahara desert can go higher than 40 degree
Celsius, which can cause death and illnesses to humans. There has been report of 40 travellers
dying of thirst in the Sahara Desert in Northern Niger in 2017 after their vehicle broke down
(Over 40 people 'die of thirst' in Sahara Desert, 2017). The lack of inhabitants and proper
healthcare in the Sahara region make it impossible place for human survival.
Living in natural biomes is challenging for most humans because of threat posed by
natural disasters which often occurs in nature. For example the grassland biome is prone to wild
fires because it comprises of open grassy areas. Comanche , which is one of the largest grassland
regions of USA, suffered wildfires leading to loss of 2000 acres in July 2022 resulting in loss of
vegetation and death of animals (More than 2,000 acres burn in four Comanche County
wildfires, 2022). Similarly sandstorms in dessert biomes increase survival challenges. On
average, an astonishing 182 million tons of dust departs from the western Sahara (A Giant Dust
Storm Is Heading Across the Atlantic, 2020). Extreme environmental conditions in natural
biomes lead to regular natural disasters, making human survival impossible in nature.
Humans face the danger of running into deadly animals when living in nature. In case of
American Grasslands, Mountain Lions, Black Bears and Alligators can disrupt human survival in
nature. On the other hand dessert biomes such as Sahara have lions, leopards, pythons, hyenas,
servals and jackals in terms of deadly wildlife (Agha and et. al., 2018). Encounters with deadly
wildlife in nature, infestation of invasive wildlife in houses, disturbances caused by wildlife in

CONCLUSION
From the above information it is determined that humans living in nature is enormously
difficult because of inherent challenges of interacting with natural biomes. Dessert biomes are
challenging for human living because of extreme temperatures, predators, animal interference,
low human population and infrastructure for survival along with natural conditions such as huge
sandstorms. At the same time, grassland biomes threaten human living because of deadly animal
encounter and massive wildfires causing vegetation damage essential for human survival.
Therefore, survival of human in nature is impossible event and can lead to death of individuals if
it is tried in lethal biomes such as desserts and grasslands.
