It provides webs services to its clients. The Company has its headquarter in Seattle, Washington.

decided to sell eBooks primarily following the information he could derive from his research
work on the target market. When it started selling eBooks, Amazon was not the first Company to
do so. A Silicon Valley-based Computer Literacy was the first to sell eBooks under the format as
