INTRODUCTION
After graduating from the university, I have decided to make my career growth towards
sport and leisure industry. I have decided to be a human resource manager in the Adidas. Adidas
is a huge multinational organisation rendering which produces sports shoes, clothing an
accessories. It renders sportswear and athletic footwear. Adidas was coined by Adolf Dassler. It
render it services worldwide covering huge sport brand. To become a human resource manager
to would require to have good communication and technical skills in order to mange different
events in my career path. Growing my career towards the human resource manager will helps me
to be leader in real life. Human resource manager requires leadership skills which influences
employees for accomplish targetted objectives (Brewster and et.al., 2016). In this report cover
the impacts of globalisation and other technological impact on the sports and leisure industry
and the skills, knowledge and experience required to perform required for the role of human
resource manager in sports event management and evaluation of the job opportunity that I will
prefer.

Globalisation has affected cultural, social, economical and technological factors of an
economy. Due to the emergence of globalisation, there has been a major drift on economical
environment of different countries. Many counterstrike have seen globalisation as the new way
of development while in some it had also caused high inflation rates in the products and services.
Whereas, the technological changes and development has brought the emerging changes which
has more positively impacted the the world's economy. Globalisation has reshaped the sport
world by connecting different sports and leisure companies for better trading and engaging to
different target customers (Greer, 2021). The positive and negative impacts of globalisation and
technological changes in sports and leisure industry are discussed below:
Globalisation impact on Adidas:
Globalisation has to engage to different customer market, with globalisation, Adidas has
achieved huge share of customer market.

Adidas is the market leader in the sport and leisure industry, it renders sport equipments
by analysing the different target customer neds and wants (Nickson, 2021).
As the needs and wants of different target customer are different, it render huge variety of
sport equipment to the customers. It manufactures footwear to athletes high heavy spikes,
while it also manufactures footwear to the customers to highlight fashion testament. The
market research and development department of Adidas conducts market research survey
in order to identify needs and wants of final prospects and manufacture effective market
offerings

With the increasing globalisation human resource manager should manage the workforce
diversity in the workplace human resource manager in diversity communicates with each
personnel to identify the employee behaviour and promote good employee relationship in
the organisation.
Technological impact on Adidas:
Technological has impacted the sports and leisure industry by achieving the efficiency of
business activities. In Adidas, where different bushiness activities were happening by the
manual process, due to the technological drift all the human activities are been replaced
by technology.
All customers records are been recorded in the customer relationship management
software, the CRM software records all the necessary information about the customer
mentioning the service taken, it also sends invites the customer fr taking new services
offered by the company, it also collects valuable feedback of different customers in order
to achieve the effectiveness of the offered services to the customers (Stewart and Brown,
2019).
Impact of technology on Human Resource Manager:
Human resource manager in Adidas uses employee information system software which
records all the necessary information of employees, it includes the compensation
rendered to the employees, the performances of each employees, and other information
needed to evaluate, mange and determine the performances of the employees in
workplace.

adopt the changes of the market demand. Sometime the company fall inefficient to meet
the needs and demands of the target customers (Stone and et.al., 2015).

Human resource manager has to come up with new strategies in order to adopt to changes
implemented by the top executives in the product development. Human resource manger

business functioning. Some skill required by the human resource manager are discussed below:

EVALUATION
This report covers all the necessary information that is required for developing my key
skill of human resource manager. As I am keenly looking ahead for looking career opportunities
as human resource manager. I have posses critical decision making skill, with strong
communication skills so developing my career as human resource manager will help me to
address my skill and I will be able to enhance my competencies. I have chosen sport and leisure
as my areas of field as I have well defined knowledge in sport from my school age, sport and
leisure industry will helps me to explore in the specific job role. I would be able to perform
dynamic job roles in order to accomplish organisational objectives (Bowen, 2016).
CONCLUSION
Human resource manager has to perform different job roles in order to manage human
capital in an organisation. Human resource manager should ascertain different competent skills
and abilities in order to communicate organisational objectives to employees. It involves
different duties an responsibilities to control and monitor organisational functions. Humna
resource manger performs different functions which involves delegating different job roles to the
employees, rendering trainings and development programmes, evaluating the performance of the
employee and compensating them with monetary benefits.
