INTRODUCTION
Human resources development is a management activity which is play a most important
role in training and development program to increase knowledge, skills and ability of employees.
In different organisation Human resources development activities are used to hire new and
energetic employees according to firm's need and want. Through this process overall
organisation working together for achieving future objectives and goals as well. These kind of
management activity help to improve skills of employees who serves their contribution in
organisation's welfare (Angelova, 2011). Training and development is very important for a firm
to achieving business objectives and future success that helps to build their own goodwill in
market. This report is based on People “R” us which is providing consultancy services to various
firm. Now they conduct a training event for Sun court residential home limited who have
requirement of trained working staff to providing appropriate services to different people. This
project represent various learning style, importance of learning curve and Significance of
learning styles and theories when planning and designing a learning event. Secondly it reflects
function of government authority in training process and impact of competency movement on
public and private sector. At last it includes training need for different level of employees,
designing a training program and evaluation form by believing training achieved by employees.

1.1 Comparison of various learning styles
Each and every individual learn various objective through different kind of prospects.
Learning style is all about hoe they prefer to learn, understand and observe different element that
they execute in their working approach. These kind of learning style are determine by various
author who understand that all individual has several learning approach as some person likes to
learn in a group and others want to observe various things individually. In other hand some
individuals believe to observe different kind of theory and others believe in practical issues of
business (Bergman, 2010). All different models are helps to understand several personalities of
employees who are working in a business organisation. There are different kind of learning style
by various authors are given below -
Kolb learning style – This learning model is published by David Kolb in 1984. This
theory is determine through four different stages of learning cycle.

According to Kolb a learner can go through four different level of learning
and they can observe and implement according to them. Learning cycle of
individuals are given below -
Divergent – Some kind of individual are very imaginative and learn different kind of
aspects through watching and observing. These type of person are sees things differently and
they are vary fascinating toward generating new ideas and thoughts according to organisation's
culture ans working environment.
Assimilative – These kind of person are just opposite to convergent individuals. They are
more likely towards theoretical issues and abstract concept of learning. According to this theory
some learners are going through conceptual values and methodological terms.
Convergent- Some kind of individual in a organisation are believe in practical issues of
firm that needs to observe before implement. They always believe to solve different kind of
problems through logical elements that needs to be depended on specific reason. They never
believes in imaginary values (Deng, 2010).
Accommodative – These kind of personalities are very inventive in their business
approaches and they are more likely towards new ideas and creative. Such individuals are solve
their problems by feelings and innovative things.
Honey and Mumford learning style – this learning approach is invented by Honey and
Mumford which includes four different factors of layering style are as follows -
Activist – According to this theory some person believe to facing new challenges and
task that can helps them to learn new things. These kind of individuals are believe to take risk
and challenges that can providing various opportunity to learn new things.
Reflector – This type of people are takes lots of time to think on a particular topic. They
are more observatory in nature and they never take instant decision for different kind of
situations. Reflector personalities are good listeners because they believe to take a particular
decision before observing its each elements (Eid, 2011).
Theorist – Such type of personalities are very different to others because they never
believes to take decision as per emotional value. They always take logical values and elements to
explore and analyse different aspects of organisation. They are fast learner by their personalities.

and honey Mumford learning style helps to understand different kind of layering style of
individuals. These type of learning approaches helps to increase value of employees through
designing and creating planning process that helps to achieve business objectives based desired
goals in specific manner. There are different learning styles and theories when planning and
designing a learning event are given below -

need to gain their skill to attain higher business success easily. Their
worker do not provides specific services to their clients so for them it is very
important that they get effective training for attain organisation's
objectives. There are specific training are needed for different level of
employees such as -
Organisational level – In this various firm conducts different kind of training process to
enhance values of overall employees who are working. In this training are provide according to
different kind of level after monitoring their working approaches (Ryu and Han, 2010).
These training and development process helps to fill gaps in employees working approaches that
