INTRODUCTION
Human resource management is a strategic approach to effectively manage individuals in
organisational workplace structure as to gain maximum competitive advantages. In this different
type of approaches and measures are being undertaken by organisation management to increase
workplace efficiency of employees through which entity can gain maximum profitability
(BELOSTECINIC and ŞARGU, 2020). Present report has been conducted on Argos which is
operating their services in retail industrial sector in United Kingdom. In this report formative
discussion has been made on implementation of e- learning approach through which skills and
knowledge of employees can be increased risk. Along with this, advantage, disadvantages and
type of activities that are included in this approach are mentioned in present report.
MAIN BODY
A general overview of this approach, and the typical types of activity that might be included
within it
Asda operates their functioning as a large organisation operating their services in retail
industrial sector. Form past 18 months it has been identified that company is many number of
issues that lower down its productivity, customer satisfaction and profitability. Along with this
organisation also noted high number of staff turnover (Trost, 2020). As per according to survey
this has been identified that, employees are not provided with proper training. In order to
overcome this, Multimedia in E-Learning training and development approach is planning to be
implementing by respective organisation. In this different type of activities like apprenticeship,
classrooms and workshop, career counselling, coaching, professional development, continuous
learning, distance learning courses, job assessments, lectures, management development
programs, off- the- job training, online training, orientation to new job roles, self directed
learning, tutorials are included through which skills ability and workplace efficiency of
employees can be advanced through which they can accomplish their daily basis work in a well
define manner.
The advantages that this approach might offer to the organisation
There is different type of benefits for both individuals and organisations of e-learning
through which business entity can effectively able to accomplish their goals and can maximize
employee’s performance. It is a budget friendly method through which is Argos can improve

learner engagement, knowledge retention and can increase employee’s workplace efficiency. In
addition with this it is a time saving, flexible method to which immediate feedback are allowed
and learner can improve, evaluate and boost their skills and knowledge in an effective manner.
With the implementation of this learning approach Arda can not only increase satisfaction among
employees but can also drive their performance towards accomplishment of organisational
objectives in a well-defined manners.
How this approach might address specific learning styles amongst employees
It has been evaluated that e-learning approach can effectively address visual learning
style among employees, as e-Learning offer videos, graphics, charts, numbers, picture form of
learning methods (Tomcikova and Coculova, 2020). Thus, employees with this learning style can
effectively able to increase their knowledge and efficiency with this approach, as this learning
method allows them to effectively increase their information in an effective manner.
Any disadvantages or risks approach might present
One of the crucial disadvantage of e-Learning is that in this lack of interaction with
instructor prevails that further fails to ensure that employees are learning. Along with this other
disadvantages of their learning approach is that it does not appeal to all learning styles and can
further affect other employees as they may feel challenging to learn from this measure. In
addition to this technological issues and lack of control are some of the disadvantage of this
approach.
Any budgeting considerations that should be borne in mind
E-learning approach allow Argos to maximise engagement of employees through which
they can further increase productivity and can retain them for long duration of time in order to
improve consumer service and sales (Kicová, 2020). Thus, in order to implement e-learning
approach in workplace of organisation consideration of training budget effectively helps to
execute their functions properly. In this activities like instructor fees training, material training
delivery like course fees, video, tutorial classes activities that are included in training expenses.

but also allows them to increase overall organisational profitability at great extent.

According to the evaluation it has been identified that there are different reasons to adopt the
approach of e-learning approach in organisational workplace structure, as it reduce learning time
and save company money in effective manner (Lyskova and Rudakova, 2020). It is a cost
efficient learning approach through which organisation can retain their employees and provide
learning accessibility to employees worldwide. Further it has been evaluated that it allow
organisation to undertake collaboration of different expert through which employees knowledge
and skills can be increased. Thus, it has been identified that e-learning approach provide different
type of advantages to respective organisation through which they can maximise workplace
efficiency of improve and can further aim towards accomplishment of corporate goals with
maximum profitability.

As per above mentioned report it has been concluded that human resource management is
most important aspect for an organisation through which they can retain their experienced and
talented employees for long period of time and further increase profitability of organisation in a
