INTRODUCTION
Human resource management is the major body of an organisation which helps in precise
management of employees (Ainslie, and Huffman, 2019). I consider that it is important for an
individual to learn key dimensions and aspect of HR management in order to develop key
approach in business management. In this journal I will include my internship based experience
in the field of HR management. This project will also include the key duties and responsibilities
which I performed during my internship.

Journal of my internship related duties what I do over there and I'm doing the Internship in care
agency in HR sector
As per my views internship is a major way of learning new things related to career of an
individual. I also dreamt of doing my internship in a well recognised and famous HR
organisation. In my internship I learned various new things and achieved key experience which
will help me further development of career in my HR field. I performed the following duties as
an internee in the care agency which belongs to HR sector:
Performance management- In my viewpoint, performance management is one of the
major function of human resource management which helps in increasing employee
productivity. I learned key tools and techniques to manage performance of the
subordinate employees in my agency. I also learned how to provide performance
appraisal to employees in order to make them more satisfied.
Workplace management- The senior HR manager who was present in the agency as my
mentor also taught me how to maintain workplace (Chu, 2020). I also learned how to
develop key ways of providing effective and precise workplace to for the subordinate
employees. I learned to analyse internal environment in an organisation to focus on
increasing the effectiveness of workplace. It is also one of my major responsibilities to
manage workplace with a key focus on organisational policies and plans.
Conflict management- Conflict management is also considered as one of the major
functions of human resource management. At my workplace(HR agency), I learned how
to resolve major conflicts which arise between the employees in an effective manner. I
also analysed and developed focused approach in managing day to day clashes. At my
workplace I learned to develop key focus on practices which are required to enhance the
harmony and development of healthy relationship between employees. I noticed during
my internship that conflicts arise on frequent basis in a business entity (Macke, and
Genari, 2019). In order to resolve those conflicts, it is essential for human resource
management to take support from board of directors and top level management.
Training and development- I was also having a major duty in the HR agency to provide
crucial training and development to my subordinate internees. I focused on development

of training and development based approach which was effective for me to enhance the
performance of all of my subordinate employees. I also learned to provide personal
training to employees in a professional manner to achieve key outcomes related to
organisational development. I also analysed during my internship that, it is key function
of a company to deliver best practices in providing training and development to
employees for marketplace success.
Culture management- Management of culture is the main function of human resource
management in a business or agency (Sawyer, 2017). I have developed key ways to
manage culture in order to make sure that the organisation is going in the right direction.
During my internship, I have also learned to eliminate false practices like discrimination
and inequality in employees. I also taught to my subordinate members about the
importance of ethics and integrity in the professional life. I have also suggested to
employees in the HR agency that they should not perform any type of malpractices which
can cause clashes and disputes within the workplace.

CONCLUSION
From the above stated journal it can be concluded that internship is an important part of
career which helps in learning and development. This project concludes the significance of
human resource management in handling organisational responsibilities. The above stated
discussion also concludes that it is ethical role of an individual to perform key and major duties
of an organisation with responsibilities to achieve desired success in the career path. The
discussion also concludes main role of HRM in increasing organisational strength and capacity
in a short span of time.
