effective for the ECT (Boon, et al. 2017).
3 Key factors which would enable ECT to implement its new learning
approach
There are several factors which may enable ECT to implement its new learning 2.0 phase in ECT
company.
Organizational structure- Jack needs to assess the organizational structure whether it would
accept the learning 2.0 phase in its process. If all the employees working in the ECT resist to the
newly adopted learning 2.0 phase then it will not only increase the business complexity but also
result to possible business issues of the business.
Culture- the ECT has designed its organizational culture more employees oriented. Therefore,
Jack needs to evaluate whether employees and organizational culture are framed in in such a way
which could lead to the adoption of learning 2.0 phase in its process system.
Training and development program- If proper training and development program is not handled
in an effective manner then it will destruct the value of the organization. The company needs to
assess whether employees are understanding the new process of learning 2.0 phase in the proper
manner or not (Debroux, 2017).
Urgency of change
All the employees need to understand the urgency of change. The learning 2.0 phase will bring
the several changes in the business. It is considered that if the learning 2.0 phase is implemented
in business then it will increase the overall outcomes and efficiency of the business. It will also

4 Adequate culture, leadership and resources necessary to support the
change
ECT is the biggest telecommunication company. The culture of the organization is employees
oriented. However, learning 2.0 phase is implemented for the betterment of the organization.
With the proper training and learning program, employees could understand the possible benefits
of learning 2.0 phase. In addition to this, Jack is the finest leader who will be successful in
influencing employees in a positive manner. He could easily handle all the possible issue and
problems which ECT may face with the implementation of learning 2.0 phase.
5 A case for this direction to the leadership team
The main case for the proper direction to leadership team is the productivity and non-
productivity of the work. I would set the case for increased productivity and high employee
turnover. Each and every employee should learn that increased use of social media will not only
hamper their productivity but also decrease the efficiency of the business at large. The
employees could have confidence and proper support if learning 2.0 phases are implemented in
the business process. It will increase their employability in the business. I will first collect the
data for the annual sales of the company. After that, by using proper graphical presentation, the
same would be shown to employees to evaluate their performance. In addition to this, other
presentation would be made to employees related to benefits and advantage of using learning 2.0
phase in ECT. This case direction would help me to influence all the employees in a positive
manner to adapt to the newly introduced learning 2.0 phase in ECT. However, employees might
face issues related to using of advanced technologies, blocking the access to particular sides and
less connectivity to outside world. At the same time, they could be more focused towards the
productivity of organization (Boon, et al. 2017).
Now, in the end, it could be inferred that ECT Company may face several issues such as
adapting to the new design, following proper rules and regulation. Therefore, it could be inferred
that if company follow this leadership program then it could easily mitigate the issues related to
implementing new learning 2.0 phase.
