HUMAN RESOURCE
Introduction
The process of Human Resource Management explains activities like selecting,
recruiting, inducting the employees, and providing them training, undertaking necessary
activities for their development; thereby creating an efficient workplace structure and culture
(Noe et al., 2017). I think study of HRM will provide an overall idea about how to manage
and maintain an effective workplace environment.
Dream job
My dream job is to be a human resource manager and provide successful HR services
to the organization in which I am going join. I think, finding a meaningful work and fulfilling
the work is intensely individual and personal. Meaningful work usually arises while a
particular individual perceives the authentic inter-connection between his/her work and a
broader transcendent purpose of life beyond it (Budhwa & Debrah, 2013). As meaningful
work is characterized by the workplace contribution and connection, hence, it needs higher
effort, struggle and positive feelings in the workplace. On flip, fulfilling work is viewed in
terms of money, respect and status, opportunity of changing, pursuit of passion, and
leveraging the unique talent. Below, there are top five job expectations that I have from my
employer.
1. Recognizing and prising the work
2. Providing mentorship, feedback to improve and training
3. Creating and maintaining a motivational work culture
4. Provide clear vision
5. Reflecting good leadership style
