Background of the research:
According to the case study of Happy Dog Pty Ltd it has been observe that, the major
issue faced by the company has been increasing rate of employee turnover. Many employees
have been leaving the company due to poor HR services provided by the company. The
company has been facing problems in the recruitment of employees for serving dogs in the
company. The recruitment cost of the company has been high in recent years which has been
a major problem. The advertising and marketing cist of the employee recruitment has been
going higher for the company. The employee turnover has been the main issue faced by the
HR department of the company. Analysing the case scenario of Happy dogs pty ltd it has
been noticed that, Michel Traynor the director of this organization has taken a step towards
developing a wellness program for the employees apart from the existing services which
includes the Happy Dogs day Services and Happy Dog- Walking services. In order to
develop an effective Happy Dog Wellness program it is Traynor has appointed Dr. Molly
Moppect.
In order to deploy this program in to the work process of Happy Dogs Pty Ltd, Dr.
Molly has decide to conduct an assessment to analyse the need of this program and what
resources needs to be incorporate in the programme structure. Where the program needs to
implemented? How the services will be provided to the customer’s? As well as it needs to
understand the work shift timing and what services can be provide at the clients place. Along
with all the above aspects it also essential to analyse the resources what needs to be gathered
in order to deploy this program (Friedmann, Son and Saleem 2015). According to the case
study it has been observed that primary concern to develop this program in the business
structure of Happy Dog Pty Ltd is to analyse the human resources. The essentiality of
identifying the human resources in this scenario is high as this service demands to handle the

dogs by the human interaction (Couse 2014). Enough human resources is needed as this is
one of the most sensitive area which needs to be handled with care as well as in this field the
interaction of machine should be less. Thus, followed by the mentioned case study it has been
observed that human resources management is essential as this service holds the fundamental
objective to deal with dogs (Marler and Fisher 2013).
Data collection methodology and its utilization:
While discussing about the analysis of the human Resource management for the
approached service of Happy Dog Pty Ltd it is essential to discuss about the importance of
Human Resources in any organization. According to several studies it has been observed that
there are several positive aspects of human resource management present in any business in
order to provide effective services to the customers. The fundamental objective of human
Resource management is to identify and accomplish the required human resources in order to
address the business objectives. Along with that another fundamental objective of human
resource management is to identify the procedure of maximizing the employment utilization.
In this case scenario it has been observed that it has the approach to deploy such program
which needs advance and effective human interaction as well as management, as this works
to deal with the animals (Noe et al. 2017).
In order to identify the required field and resources the to successfully implement this
approach it is Dr. Molly needs to conduct a qualitative data collection method over the
quantitative data collection method, as the method of collecting the information in a numeric
format will not help to understand the required information to implement an effective human
resource management which can directly affect the services of Happy Dog Wellness. As by
the investigation with quantitative data collection method will only provide the numerical
result, this will not effective to base on this investigation result (Richard 2013). Thus,

followed by the analysis of the case study Dr. Molly needs to conduct the assessment process
which provides efficient information and recommendation about the approached service.
Those assessment includes the process of interviewing employees. A survey should be
conducted on a standard sample size of dogs to analyse the behaviour of different types of
dogs in different environments. This type of data will help to understand the nature and the
behaviour of the dogs which will help to determine the employee requirement which is
essential to build such program to handle different types of dogs with different nature. Along
with that this assessment result will specify about the necessary training which needs to be
conducted in order to educate the employs on the approached service (Lindlof and Taylor
2017). Fundamentally, to identify the above aspect the investigation must be based on the
primary data sources as this will help Dr. Molly to effectively structure the organizational
program.
Targeted Population for data collection:
Followed by the concept of gathering the information by qualitative data collection
method the following aspects needs to be considered in order to get the accurate investigation
result. Primarily in an effective qualitative data collection approach it is essential to follow
two basic research procedure which includes the process of gathering information by the
conducting a one to one interaction or interview in order to collect the accurate information.
Along with this the conduction of a group interview can help to gather useful information
about the concerned area. Since, it is suggested to follow the qualitative data collection
method and the collection of primary data as well it is essential to target the population which
are entirely or partially related to this area (McCusker and Gunaydin 2015). Thus, followed
by the qualitative data collection process the fundamental focus of Dr. Molly should be the
conduction of investigation on at least 30 individual employees and ex-employee. Along with

organization in order to deploy an effective service. Followed by the above investigations the
researcher must consider to conduct a survey on dogs. Apart from this, the assessment should
include the existing employ in order to analyse their skills. Since, the approached service is
mainly concerned about the wellness factors as well as fitness factors of dogs it is essential to
identify the places and environments where the dogs of which brides are reacting and what is
the nature of that dog (Cleary, Horsfall and Hayter 2014). Followed by which the HR
department of the organization will decide the desired skills, based on which HR will hire
employs as well as the required training which will help the employs to enhance their
working process. Thus, lastly it can be stated that in order to conduct a successful
investigation to get the accurate result from the participants the sampling size for face to face
interview should be minimum 30 employees and ex-employees, for group investigation it
must be 4 group consist of 5 individual who are related to the concerned area.

Data record method(s) - Apart from the investigation procedure it is recommended to record
audio clips as well as in text format from the individual participants, note down discussed
point during the group discussion. The data will be collected from interviewing and surveying
employees and ex-employees of the company and asking about the problems they have faced
in working with the company.
Ethical issues related to the research methodology and its mitigation
technique:
According to Sanjari et al. (2014) it is has been observed that there are several ethical
issues present while conducting a qualitative research methodology which might have a direct
impact on the research result. Thus, followed by this proposal the possible ethical problems
has been identified and mentioned. Furthermore, along with the ethical issues the possible
