is called sample and the process of selecting sample is known as sampling. Sample plays an
important role as they help researcher in getting accurate informations. There are mainly 2 types
of sampling such as probability and non-probability. In probability type, researcher select sample
randomly (Jebb, Parrigon and Woo, 2017). On the other hand, in non-random type, they select
research approach because inductive approach is suitable with qualitative.
Research philosophies
Research philosophy can be defined as rules and assumptions which governs the way in
which scholar carries research. Positivism and interpretivism are main 2 philosophies of
research. As per the positivism, society shapes individuals which exercise coercive control over
individuals. On the other hand, in interpretivism, people are more conscious who react to
external social factors as positivist believes. For this study, scholar will make an effective use of
interpretivism research philosophy. It allows researcher to interpret all elements of the study.
Data collection
Data collection is also known as one of the important element of research methodology.
It shows different sources and ways of collecting accurate and reliable data to the topic. Topic of
this research is management and its effectiveness so, it is important for scholar to select the best
source. There are mainly 2 types of sources of collecting data such as primary and secondary
(Fulford and Hodgson, 2016). In primary data collection, researcher gathers new informations
which are not being used before. Some examples or sources of primary include: questionnaire,
survey etc. On the other hand, secondary data collection is one in which researcher gathers
existing informations which may used before. Some examples of secondary data sources include:
books and journals, internet etc. Researcher will use both types.
Data analysis
After collecting relevant informations it is important for scholar to evaluate and analyse
them in order to make them accurate and use them for developing the study. As like research
types, data analysis is also being divided into 2 parts such as: qualitative and quantitative.
Selection of data analysis also depend upon the type of research. For this study, researcher will
select qualitative so, the type of data analysis will be qualitative as well. With the help of
qualitative data analysis, scholar will make all informations relevant and make them able to use
for development of the study and accomplishment of goals.
