Is innovation based on sound engineering, technology, science and management ---- Is it
feasible
Yes, definitely, the innovation is based on the concepts of sound engineering, science,
management and technology. It is because from the presentation, it can be seen that the solar
integrated electric vehicles and use of solar panels are important applications of sound
engineering techniques and science management, which enables innovation perspective and
thus can be feasible for reducing the environmental impact as well as improve business
functioning (Mouli, Bauer and Zeman 2016).
If Innovation is feasible - Is it a practical concept?
Yes, the innovation is feasible because with the investments done for the introduction
of solar integrated electric vehicles and development of solar panels, there will be generation
of clean energy and even reduce the harmful environment impact to a large extent. Thus,
investing on the development of solar panels and solar powered electric vehicles could be
feasible not only for the management of innovation but also for moving towards a better and
healthy environment where people could live in properly in the future as well (Fathabadi
2017).
Innovation is thus feasible and a practical concept as well, considering the fact that it
is something new to the business that can not only fulfil the needs of clients, but also
transform the innovation idea into practical reality, furthermore result in improving the
efficiency of business methods, operations and processes along with the introduction of new
products and services too. It is a practical concept because after the energy is used from the
battery, the battery would be charged itself with the help of solar panels that would generate
clean energy (Goldin et al. 2014).

2HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
Is there a market for the product as claimed by the presenter?
Yes, there is a market for the products as represented in the presentation, because the
solar integrated electric vehicles are considered as environment friendly and there are lesser
chances of polluting the environment. The vehicle market will increase with the increase I
population and with the change in consumer trends. The markets that are mainly targeted
include Middle East and Asia because of the climatic conditions while the solar vehicles will
also be successful in America and Africa. There has been emergence of issues and problems
such as the existing vehicles creating higher amount of pollution, limitation of fuel around the
globe and high amounts of expenses on the fuel (Hannan, Azidin and Mohamed 2014). Thus,
there is need to bring something innovation and at the same time, focus on the management
of sustainability to reduce the harmful environmental impact and focus on the formation of a
cleaner and healthier environment. Thus, the market for the product could be huge and this
would also facilitate creation of a sustainable environment with much ease and efficiency.
If market is there – do the people/target consumers have enough purchasing power to
buy the product, are there any cultural social and political issues?
With the presence of good market, the electric vehicles’’ sales have increased largely
with more than 56 percent and nearly 200000 units are being sold globally. The sales level
have increased from the past few years, as compared to the year 2012 to 2014 and the
forecast suggested an increase in nearly 3 lakh unit sales. Based on the SWOT analysis, it
could be understood that the strengths are the new and innovative product, huge market size
and good nature along with long term growth scopes and opportunities, which represents that
the targeted consumers have high purchasing power for buying the products (Mesarić and
Krajcar 2015). The weaknesses are the collaborative working with the market holders, which
might create political issues and social issues as well that might further hinder the successful

management of trade policies and inappropriate business functioning too. The threats could
also arise due to the emergence of rivalries and competitors, which might also create
enhanced scopes and opportunities for increasing the popularity of electric cars and at the
same time, gain competitive advantage in business as well (Tie and Tan 2013).
Are investors satisfied with distribution strategy, costing, financial and rate of return
and exit plan?
The investors seem to be satisfied with the strategy for distribution of products and
services, costing, rate of return and exit plans because the electronic automobile companies
have mostly been interested about the introduction of the new solar integrated vehicles that
generate lesser harmful gases and even focused on keeping the environment safe and healthy
largely. This would attract investors or shareholders to make more investments with the aim
of getting good rates of return on the investments made (Richardson 2013). The Government
and regulatory bodies have also supported the idea considering the increased cost of fuel and
high level of pollution, because of which, the introduction of Solar powered electric vehicles
running on clean energy could be beneficial and appealing with the marketplace at the present
era.
Are you satisfied with the growth and sustainability of the product?
Yes, the growth and sustainability of the product are satisfactory considering the fact
that USA Plug-in vehicle sales and share have increased. Based on the financial data and
information, it could be understood that in United States of America, 360800 electric vehicles
are delivered in the year 2018, which denotes an increase of more than 81 percent as
compared to the previous year’s sales generated. In terms of sustainability, the electric
vehicles are capable of offering great deal to the asset management of the sustainability
balance sheet not only because of the reduced emissions of harmful gases, but also due to the

reduction of noise pollution along with preventing the environmental impact of disposal of
toxic materials (Albanese et al. 2015). By analysing the unit sales breakeven analysis, it could
be understood that the fixed costs have remained same and the total operating costs have
increased a bit only based on the selling of units. The sales revenue have increased to a huge
extent, which shows that the level of satisfaction is high considering the growth and
sustainability of the product, i.e., the electric vehicles. The resources are capable of renewal,
which should further increase the sales in the future as well (Devabhaktuni et al. 2013).
Is the team selected by the presenter capable enough to carry forward the business and
successfully achieve the business objectives and targets?
The team selected by the presenter is capable enough and do possess good amount of
skills, knowledge and expertise to carry forward the business and achieve the business goals
and objectives with much ease and efficiency. The team consisting of members possess MBA
degree along with necessary skills and knowledge about the electronic and electric
engineering concepts too (De Schepper, Van Passel and Lizin 2015). Some of them have
technical expertise and are electronic and electric engineers who possess knowledge about
designing circuits and electrical networks too, which are needed for the management of Solar
powered electric vehicles and making the projects associated with these vehicles get managed
properly and with accuracy (Tie and Tan 2013).
Evaluating the presentation on a scale of 0 to 10 with full investor support
Based on my evaluation, I would like to rate the presentation as 6 on a scale of 0 to
10. It is because, though the cause and necessity for the Solar powered electric vehicles are
understood, still there are few areas like the impact of electric vehicles on sustainability has
not been provided with much detailed information, which hinder the successful completion of
the assignment. The problems have though been identified, which has created scopes for the

introduction of electric vehicles, but the growth and sustainability capability information are
not provided much, which could also be a major issue (Mesarić and Krajcar 2015). Still, the
main aspects have been focused on, which has provided relevant information about how and
why the introduction of these vehicles tend to generate more positive outcomes both in terms
of sustainability and reduction of pollution as well (Ottman 2017).
