INTRODUCTION
Human resource management (HRM) play a very important role in ensuring
the success of the Say it with Chocolate company. It is very help for improving the
product image which is very effective of this organisation to run their business for
long time (Hendry, 2012). This report will explain the roles and responsibilities of the
human resource manager and also defining the purpose of its functions. This project
is also explaining the current selection methods used by the Say it with Chocolate
and compare it to other approaches of selection methods. This report is also creating
person specification (human resource management (HRM), 2018.). Human resource
management is the process of recruiting, selecting, providing proper orientations
and inductions parts proper training and developing skills. It belongs all the function
of HRM and it is distributive in nature means it is present in all industries. It is helpful
for maintaining relationship with organization. This company work on all the functions
of human resource management these are the functions reference on this file. This
firm distinguishing the organization need and make a business plan of action and
achieve their goals in HRM division.
TASK 1
a) Discuss the purpose of HR functions and its importance to the organisation given
its current problems and future plans for further growth
Human resources is the process of hiring and developing employee’s and it
includes managing job analyses, recruiting the right people for the particular job,
providing effective training for improvising the work capacity of worker, providing
bonus benefits, incentives, evaluating staff performance and communication with
whole employees. The purpose of HR functions to manage whole organisation
(Costen 2012). The role of human resources management is to make effective plan
for the development of Say it with Chocolate organisation and this corporation make
administrative plan, policies and designed better training program. Some major
functions of human resources are given below.
Planning: it is the part of management without planning no nay one make effective
plan so planning is very necessary, it is the process of thinking in advance like what

development, safety, worker motivations, performance management and so others

Human resource manage play a very important role to the successful of the

their employee’s performance as well as managing whole staff in effective manner.

main motive to earn more profitability ratio and handling their human resources
department in proper way.
c) Advantages and disadvantages of the current selection methods used by the
organization and compare it to other approaches of selection methods
Human resource department is responsible for recruiting of new employees
and selecting skilful employee. The advantages of current selections procedures it is
very effective and help to find qualified people. A compressive selections and
recruiting are involved in developing the guidelines for selecting new peoples. Every
department employees understand the current and future requirement or their area

process and then hiring new candidates as per the firms need. It is very important
aspect for corporation growth. but they people want to able to attract the best
candidates for achieve the goal of the company. But if they are not selections the
best new talent people so they do not achieve their goal in properly manner.
