INTRODUCTION
There is a requirement for a strong workforce so that the organizations can have a better
functioning and productivity which can be achieved with the help of human resource
management. Netflix is a US company which is having 6,700 employees and is functioning
worldwide streaming videos and is a source of entertainment. The report would consist of how
important it is to have a human resource management which is going to affect the performance
level of the company.

P 3 Benefits of HRM practices
There are a lot of benefits which can be received by the human resource management in
an organization if the work is done properly. There is training and development which is
provided to the employees by them so that the organization can have a better functioning so that
they can achieve their objectives from time to time (Kowalczyk, 2019). It is very important the
internal functioning of the organization takes place in an effective functioning which is a very
important factor which can be better with the help of human resource management. There are a
set of standards which are set by the organization for themselves which is why having the right
strategies for the internal environment will also be good. There has to be no communication gap
in the organization which has to be taught or trained by the human resource so that the
employees of the company can match the expectations of the organization and function
effectively which is not going to reflect negative on the productivity and the reputation of the
organization in the market.
There are a lot of ways through which training can be provided to the employees which is
why orientation, training and safety training in the organization. It is very important that the
employees know about the environment and the conditions which they will be working under so
that they can decide the best for themselves. Employees must get the right attention when and
where required so that they can give their best in the company which is going to be very helpful

for Netflix and the turnover of the employees will not be there and the presences of the company
in the market is going to be strong (Chowdhury and Miah, 2016). Training and development of
the organization is going to make clarity of functioning come in the company so that the
objectives of the company can be met faster and the company will be able to achieve their
objectives. To make the company achieve their goals faster it is important to have a motivated
workforce which will be able to help in the decision making as well which is going to be much
better.
There are different methods which can be used for evaluating which are benchmarking,
checklist methods, performance test method and 360 evaluations. It is very essential for the
human resource managers to give the employees what they ask for so that they can have a
satisfaction and a willing power of giving their best in the company. There has to be a check on
them so that the company can find out there status and improvement which is required so that the
company can have a better functioning. The training and development which has been provided
to the employees has to be checked from time to time so that the company can find out that the
employees are matching the standards and expectations of the company which is going to be
beneficial for the company (Ribeiro and Gomes, 2016). A gap in the employees can make the
company not be able to achieve their objectives and the productivity of the company will fall
which is not good for the company’s market image. There has to be a proper training which is
required by all the employees of the company so that they can have a better workforce for
themselves so that they can make the most from the company.

There are a lot of methods which can be used by the human resource management of
Netflix to motivate the employees of the organization so that they can give their best in the
company. Extrinsic and intrinsic rewards are two types of motivations which can be given to the
employees so that there is a better functioning of the organization. Intrinsic rewards are those
which can motivate the employees from within which are achievements they have, personal
growth, completions, etc which can keep the satisfaction of the employees in the organization
(Ren, 2017). The extrinsic rewards are those which impact on the employees from the outside
which are wages, salary, employee benefits, promotions, etc. It is very important for the

Herzberg Two factor Motivation Theory
The two factors theory is based on motivators and hygiene factors which help the
employees to be motivated for long term and increase the efficiency of the organization
effectively (Goldbach, Barbu and Bidireanu, 2018). This theory also helps the organization to
develop effective understanding of all the internal factors which can help to increase the healthy
working environment and support motivation activities to achieve objectives effectively. This
theory was formulated after the need theory of motivation which stated that motivation can be
achieved by fulfilling the needs of employees. However, organization also needs to develop
other factors to reduce the cost of motivating employees again and again.
Motivators
This factor helps to increase the motivation of employees by various activities which also
provide opportunity to organization to develop effective understanding about all factors which
motivates employees effectively. This factors helps to increase the potential of employees ato
achieve organizational objectives effectively. Job satisfaction is obtained by this factors which
also helps Netflix to increase its performance to attract more customers and gain higher profit
margins effectively. Netflix uses financial rewards, appreciations, employee benefits to increase
the encouragement of their employees effectively.
Hygiene Factors
Hygiene factors are those factors which helps the organization to maintain an effective
and healthy working environment for employees which increases them to increase their
efficiency to work and achieve objectives effectively (Vinogradova and et.al., 2017). Netflix uses
effective company policies increase healthy environment and with the help of effective
management strategies which increases the potential of employees to integrate their efforts with
the vision of the company effectively. Company is also providing more salary and security to
employees who help to retain them and increases the employee relations effectively.

Employees who are motivated will give their personal best in the organization which is a
great factor for the company to achieve their objectives and goals. There are rewards which are
provided by the management of human resource for the employees who give their personal best
for the organization to achieve their objectives is a very good factor for the company to function
in the market. Netflix is a new organization which is why there has to be a motivated employee
workforce so that they can achieve their objectives and goals from time to time so that they can
have a better functioning for themselves. There is a lot of flexibilities which are provided to the
employees of Netflix so that they can feel comfortable with the working environment and there
is not too much pressure on them which will not make them be a success. Netflix has picked up a
great market share for themselves which is why having the right set of powerful workforce is a
very important factor (Benitez, Cruz-Castro and Sanz-Menéndez, 2016). Monitoring the
employees is as important as possible so that there is a better functioning and the company will
be able to function in the same direction. Working in one direction is very important for Netflix
so that they can have a better functioning for themselves so that they can get more achievements.
Rewards are given and so are the punishments but there is a lot of pressure on the company
because in so much little time the company has got a lot of success which is why they will have
to do their best with what they have in hand. Therefore Netflix has hired the right people in the
company so that they can get a competitive advantage.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it can be concluded that it is very important to have the right set of
skills and training methods for the human resource management to be able to control the
employees of the company. There has to be right training and development which has to be given
to the employees so that there is a better functioning of the organization. There are objectives of
the company’s which have to be met and having a trained workforce is going to be good for the
company so that there is a better functioning and productivity of the organization so that the
customers’ demands and needs can be met.
