The name of the article is Armstrong’s Handbook of Human Resources Management and
on the basis of which the analysis is conducted. The assessment of this article will be helpful in
having a proper understanding of the issue related to human resource management. Human
Resource Management has an essential role to play for all the companies as with the help of this
management the companies can manage their employees in an effective manner. The utilization
of this management process can enhance the reward and recognition process within the company
and thereby can motivate the employees. The findings and discussion section is based on the
information collected from such an article.
Research Objectives
The objectives have been known to be the goals that are constructed and accordingly a
specific path is set according to which the analysis process is undertaken. The result that is
ascertained with the help of the analysis are compared with the objectives in order to understand
the authenticity of the results.
The main purpose of this assessment is to analyze the role of human resource
management in a business organization and how the same can affect the performance of the
business. The assessment considers the approaches which the management of different

brought about in the field. The researcher can also collect data from primary sources such as data
from companies and this can help in the research process of the business.
Findings and Discussion
The role of Human resource management of a business is to effectively support the
different departments of the business with skilled labour supply. In order to effectively evaluate
the function of HRM, it is of prime most importance how well and far the employees of an
organization are being utilized for the purpose of fulfilling the objectives and goals of a
business.Any business cannot function properly without skilled labour force. The performance of
a business largely depends on the workforce which is employed by the business as they add
values, personal traits to the life of the organization. In a modernbusiness organization, the role
of the employees is crucial and they are considered to be the life force of an organization(Bratton
& Gold, 2017). As per the research conducted there are three ways in which human resources
can be developed which are attracting skilled employees in an organization, motivating the
employees and retaining the employees of the business.
It has been found that various companies have undertaken these kinds of surveys in order
to gain an understanding of the results. There are several multinational companies like Coca-
Cola, Samsung and other companies who undertake such kinds of surveys in order to have an

There are ways in which human resource management practices in a business
organization can be improved which are proper skill development programs, motivational
campaign, setting up work shops for the learning of the employee(Purce, 2014). Some
researchers are also of the opinion that motivation of the employees can further enhance their
skills and further improve human resources of a business.
Conclusion
The above discussion shows that the role of Human resource management in a business
and how further improvement can be brought about in the process. The research shows that there
are certain tools which the management can use for the purpose of improving the quality of
human resources of the business. There is also a scope of further research on how innovation can
impact human resource management and what factors need to be considered for keeping the
employees of a business satisfied. Further research can be done with the help of primary data and
the same can be done on the basis of an organization.
