INTRODUCTION
Human Resource (HR) is the department which is having responsibility of all the staffs in
the organisation. Hence it includes recruitment, selection and training programs for the
development of the employees (Noe Hollenbeck And et. al., 2017). HR set policies and
procedures for improving the betterment of organisation. More over roles and responsibilities of
employees and employers of company is been set by HR, the main objective is to provide
training sessions, to make performance appraisal and more over implementing the rewards
system for encouraging the employees. Hence HR play major role in every organisation. In this
report Chocolate Presence organisation which is been situated in Yorkshire, which is dealing in
greeting cards and providing different innovated products to attract the customer. In this report
there are four task which is been discussed like training and selection and its advantages to the
company.
TASK 1
Human resource management set certain roles and responsibilities for the employees
working in the organisation and hence it plays important role in the company as well as in big
firms and industry. Goals and objectives are need to be set by the HR in effective manner.
Functions and purpose of HR of the organisation
The major department functions of HRM which is been discussed in such manner which
are as follow:-
Compensation: The employees of organisation need to work in effective manner then
only employers of business will contribute their part for development (DeCenzo Robbins and et.
Al 2016). Payment is huge concern for workers but incentives and compensation which motivate
employees for betterment work process. The act which is been set by government that is Fair
