INTRODUCTION
Reflective writing is referred as the analytical practice where writer describes imaginary
or real interaction, event, scene or memory and add personal reflection on the meaning. In this,
the writer reflects on the issue as well as consider the way their own experiences might impact
their response. It also assists an individual to learn about themselves and contribute to better
outcomes that consider biases. This is a reflective report which includes two parts which help in
assessing whether the learning from the module is achieved or not. The report includes reflective
writing based on the portfolio of evidence and it involves reflection on the learning from the
sessions in the way learning will be utilized to develop particular areas of knowledge and skills
further. The portfolio of the evidence includes reflection on the learning activities, personal
development plan, continuous development logs and self-evaluation against graduate human
resource position. The reflection in the report is provided by using Gibbs reflective cycle.
PART 1
Reflective writing on the learning from sessions
Reflective writing is a good practice that help learner to think about the way they think. It
provides an opportunity to the learner to express what he or she knows and the way it relates to
their experience. It also assists an individual to think about the learning process and make it
useful for them. This is a reflective report in which I reflect upon my own experience that I get
during undertaking the module. In this, I use Gibbs reflective model for reflecting upon my
learning experience. It was developed by Graham Gibbs in year 1988 in order to provide
structure to the learning from the experiences. It provides a framework to examine the
experiences as well as provide its cyclic nature lends itself specifically well to repeated
experiences, that enable me to learn and plan from things which other went well or not well. This
reflective cycle includes 6 stages name as description, feelings, evaluation, analysis, conclusion
and action plan. My experience while undertaking the module and the sessions using Gibbs
model is provided below.

I am a student undertaking a module "Human Resource management". While undertaking
the module and various sessions takes place in the module, I initially very nervous as I have no
knowledge about the sessions and the topics on which the sessions were based. The session was
undertaken in my University. I faced many difficulties initially due to my weak communication,
team working, leadership and problem solving skills. In the classroom, I was not able to interact
effectively with my teacher and my classmates as well because my communication skills were
not good at that time. Various sessions were conducted on organizational culture, performance
management, organizational change and transformation etc. In these sessions, I have the
opportunity to learn many things. I was provided with the task of giving presentation by my
tutor. Initially I expected that it was done in the group, but later I found that I have to give
presentation alone. This decreased my morale and motivation and my confidence level gets low
at that time. However, my tutor and my classmates helped me a lot and motivated me to give the
presentation. Firstly, I needed to attend the sessions and then gave the presentation on that. In the
first session, about performance management in which I learnt so many things including the
characteristics of workplace of future, imperatives of Human Resource management, Evolution
of performance management, challenges of current performance management etc.
Initially, when I attended the session I was not able to understand the topic as it was
completely new to me. However, after sometime I felt that the topic is very easy and I was able
to understand the topic slowly and steadily. My nervousness gradually become decreased my
confidence level increased slowly. My interest was developed on the topic which helped in
improving my knowledge associated with it. During that session, I faced difficulty in interacting
with the tutor because of ineffective communication skills. I felt bad at that time as I was not
able to clear my confusions with the tutor because of my ineffective communication skills.
However, when I attended the second session, the problem which I faced in the first session due
to lack of communication skills gets reduced and my confidence level slowly boost up which
helped me to stand up and clear my confusion. There were so many things which went well at
that time as it improved my knowledge and skills and make me able to perform well in future.
However, a few things were there which were not good. For instance: because of my weak
communication, I was not able to clear my confusions with the tutor due to which some of the
concepts associated with the topic were not there at that time.

By undertaking the module, I understand that each situation has some positive and
negative aspects. However, while I evaluated my own experience, I can say that some of my
experiences are very good but some are bad. Because of my ineffective communication skills, I
was not able to communicate effectively to my colleagues and the tutor. Apart from this, my
problem solving and team working skills were also weak due to which I was not able to work
effectively in the team and resolve the issues that we faced during the module. In addition to this,
my leadership skills were also week due to which I was not able to influence others effectively
and lead the team. However, my organizational skills were average which helped me in
organizing my work effectively during the module. I organized each activity in proper way
which helped me in performing them successfully on the specified time. In my perspective, the
thing which I experienced during the whole situation could be my good organisation skills due to
which I was able to do some of my assigned works on time. From the overall situation I found
that I learn so many things which not only contribute in improving my understanding and
knowledge on the subject area, but also help in my personal growth and development. By this
module, my confidence level and some of my skills gets improved which will help me in future.
It also provides me with the opportunity to grow professionally as the learning which I get by
undertaking the module will help me in implementing that learning in future in my professional
career. However, I found that there were some areas on which I need to work hard to improve
them. Firstly, I need to work upon my communication skills so that I will be able to
communicate effectively with others and present my point clearly in front of people. In order to
improve my communication skills, I will take communication sessions and watch online videos
available on the communication so that it gets improved. Apart from this, I also required to
improve my problem solving skills as because of ineffective the skills, I was not able to resolve
even a small issue in an effective way. Thus, in order to enhance problem solving skills, I will
identify the issues, find main components of associated with the issue, then examine the possible
solutions to resolve that issue in an effective way. This will help in improving my problem
solving skills and make me able to resolve small or even complex problems in an effective way.

Reflection on learning activities
As a human resource graduates some learning activities which I have to be performed in
this to improvise some skill such as leadership, problems solving, communication skills and time
management skills. Through this I am using Gibbs reflection model to identify and how to
improve these skills are as follows:
Description: In this I have to analyze this job pattern of human resources which are
needs to complete some application related to this job and its evaluation. As I have read carefully
all these description I understood that they will help me gather all these traits and I need to
become develop my communication skills which will be helpful me to get appropriate job and
inform about decision making.
Feelings: If I have talking about thoughts and feelings of gradate human resource person
so that I have applied for this job. If present my communication skills I have to communicate
easily with other team members so I can solve my interpersonal problem which will be helpful
for firm. If we talking about picking up some ideas I can identify which idea is best or not. So
this will generate my problems solving skills
Evaluation: To evaluate any job which is highly position so it can be demonstrate high
academic abilities and they should offer me a competitive environment of business. I will have
some opportunity to work with different departments in human resources so I will be able to
discover my time management skills to choose a better career in proper time. This will help me
to provide a great opportunity to gain some experience to working in different departments.
Analysis: I have analyze all these things related to human resource department because I
m focused on particular position and collecting information for producing some results. I can be
more successful when reducing patterns and see connection what type of department build on my
own capabilities and takes risks to overcome. I want to prove that they should create world in my
own efforts so they will be working others while I m learning and asses future opportunities so
that I can feel and manage it.

Conclusion: Through conclusion, it depends upon my features that I think there is
nothing that firm needs what I should be offer and need something o have learn new things and
apply them in real life occasions. Having a good degree from graduate position is not enough as
it matter to have willing have some own experience and skills to make practice that people teach
about their experience and knowledge for human resource graduate. If they should motivate you
to accomplish their targets will go through highest level.
Action plan: Current action plan is communication skills which are based on ability to be
more organized person and it helps me to learn about their organization and people. Team work
determines that I can handle and prove that some useful idea and thoughts by firm. When I will
get some positions which are required to take some decisions about work and other related
problems will be more professional.

generally means what they have apply in such plans. To identify some development needs
through planning and carrying out such activities and reflecting on learning and experiences and
then apply it and shared with others. It involves to set out some objectives where short term and
long term are recognized for a particular plan are should be engaged. It should be developed by
technical and non technical skills to gains some understanding to approach some professional
situations.
From continuous development plan, I have completed to improve my communication
skills within 3 months and develop some attend meetings and conferences. I have to develop my
team working skills within 5 months to learning books and develop some knowledge and
experiences. To improve my problem solving skills through I have to shared my problems with
other within 2 months and leadership skills which describe participate a proper team group and
involved some assignment and this have to be completed within 3 months. To improve my
budgeting skills which have to be identify budgets and planning which establish a proper budget
and involved some type of function are considered and it is to be completed by 2 months.

Training and development skills have to be improvising and completed within 5 months through
some lessons, packages and self development for maximize their performance. This plan have to
be determine language skills which has to be completed through increasing vocabulary, reading
and writing within 6 months which is used to describe by learn some language like French,
Germany and English and many more. HR reporting skills are those skills which have to be
completed by 3 month and have to be developed by motivation, time management and so on. An
organizational skill is improve in 2 months through goals setting, personal development and
designing and collaboration by understanding some workers and plans a decision in formal
manner. Through decision making skill in this skill I have to improve very carefully and each
and every thing I have to competed within 1 month and it would be creativity, reasoning and
decision through internet by deciding what is wrong and what is right.
Evidence of learning, acquiring new knowledge and development
As learning new knowledge and development of various skills through personal
experiences which is increase their responsively for a stimulus exposure. To develop my skills
such as communication, leadership, problem solving and many more are required and it is most
significant factor which is positively completely within their proper time and influence
acquisition which capacity have to apply problem solving skills. It is helpful to acquire some
knowledge through their experience and skills which are recognize their self reflection which
allow considering their improvements through learning procedures and acquiring some
knowledge and personal experience which is relate to behavior in different ways. I have to learn
my skills and apply in different forms of skills and determine how I can complete within a proper
time frame. Some skills and development are required and determine how to develop their
resources and utilize some resources in proper time frame through communication skills, leaders,
decision making, problem solving skills and HR reporting skills are considered

From the above information, it has been concluded that human resource management is a
systematic approach for people so that they can help firm for effective business to gain some
