Introduction
Human resources are the main and central pillar for each and every organization. It assists in
guiding the performance of the employees by performing the five core activities of the human
resources includes to manage, implement, create and supervise the policies of the company. I
was working in Power line Plus Ltd as an employee and this company is dealing in providing
quality solutions to the municipalities, developer and public utilities. It is my job experience
which positively impacts in enhancing my overall personality and skills. As I already said that it
was my first job so I was very excited before joining this job.
Human Resource Management
According to Ricky W. Griffin, Human resource management is the combination of activities of
the organizations directed at developing, maintain and attracting a new workforce. In my
opinion, also the definition of human resource management is also limited but now by finding
new ideas, I realize that the definition of human resource management is vast (Kian & Yusoff,
2015). For instance, in accordance with my view, human resource management includes
recruitment innovation and employee learning and development. While working as an employee
I realize that continuous learning and development and innovative practices are also
recommended to be included in the definition of the HR.
Application to the workplace
There are various responsibilities of human resources that help in achieving the goals of the
organization includes training and development, recruitment and selection, providing security to
employees and share knowledge. These four practices affect me by improving my overall skills
and knowledge. As an employee, training assists me in enhancing and sharpen my skills both
technical and nontechnical. Further, the process of recruitment and selection assist me in
showing my best skills in the interview and supports me in gaining new experience. The
practices of security also help me as an employee to remain protected against unfair practices.
When knowledge is shared by the seniors supports me in performing the task in an effective and
efficient manner.

Key demographic and employee concerns
Due to demographic situations, four main issues that arise in the workforce are changing in the
family stricture, ageing population; diversity of labor force and the support of social service
become less (Noe, et. al., 2017). Within the place of occupation, parenting household issues,
further due to increase in ageing pressure among the employees pressurize the management to
maintain health related services, with increasing diversity it is important to increase the role of
woman in the management. There is less support service from the side of the management
against the people who suffer from disabilities and also with health and stress-related issues. The
above experiences also affected me; I have stress issues which directly affect my overall working
performance and management of the company not taking any effective steps in this context.
Reasonable Accommodation
Reasonable Accommodation is a provision that consists of conditions, environment, and
equipment that supports the employee to effectively and efficiently perform his or her job (Beer,
et. al., 2018). As an employee, reasonable accommodation affects me a lot. As an employee, this
accommodation supports me to coordinate in achieving the goals by using technology and also
helps me out to access the equal opportunity in the process of application.
