Recently I came across the “Rage Against the Machines” campaign of yours and I would like
to inform you that I am interested to volunteer for the same. I would also like to inform you
that I have extensive experience in voluntary work which I undertook for my previous
employers. More importantly, I believe that I personally believe that I would be able to
develop my team working abilities in an effective manner by participating in the voluntary
work.
I would also like to give some inputs regarding the voluntary work that you are conducting so
as to ensure its success. For example, I believe that you can benefit in a significant manner
through the use of a much bigger venue like Saskatoon Inn and Hotel Conferences. Some of
the benefits that you are likely to derive through the use of this venue are listed below-
 The volunteers would have to undertake a mere drive of 15 minutes between SaskTel
Centre and TCU Place to reach the hotel
 The hotel is not only eco-friendly but at the same time only 3.2 minutes away from
the Midtown Plaza
 The volunteers would be able to utilise the recreational opportunities offered by the
hotel during their stay
 The venue also offers free wireless internet and other kinds of facilities which would
be advantageous for the volunteers

My primary goal behind the creation of this memo was to send a message to the authorities so
as to enlist myself as a volunteer for the “Rage Against the Machines” event. More
importantly, by way of sending this memo to the authorities I have also tried to contribute in
a positive manner towards the upcoming above mentioned event by suggesting a new venue
for the same. Furthermore, I think that by enlisting myself as a volunteer for the above
mentioned event I not only feel that I would be able to learn new things like the ability to
work in teams and others but at the same time ensure that the event is a success through the
use of my prior experiences of working as a volunteer.
I personally believe that the major barrier will be the environmental interference because of
the fact that individuals from diverse backgrounds are likely to participate in the event and
there is a high probability that the attitudes as well as the perceptions of these individuals are
not in synchronicity with each other. This in turn can give rise to various kinds of disputes
which can threaten the success of the event and also make the achievement of the overall goal
of the event a difficult one. Thus, I would suggest that they can take the help of someone who
had prior experience in this field and I am also willing to help the organisers with my inputs
that I have gained through past experience.
