1. Identify the single value that is most important to you
The value that is most important to me of Acceptance because it is one of the most
important component of an individual’s life . The value of acceptance is highly useful in
accepting new situations and people so that one does not lose cool in times of
emergencies (Matthews, 2012).
2. Other values that should be included are-
Equality, helping others, always thinking good of colleagues and,being honest and
punctual.
3. My personal philosophy
My personal philosophy being a human service professional is to be compassionate about
the needs of employees in the organization. It is about putting myself in their shoes to
understand the problem faced by them. To ensure that the all the mental and physical
needs of the employees to be taken care of in the best manner.
As Human service professional, I would make sure that the environment at the work
place should be congenial so that the employees can work productively (Saridakis &
Cooper, 2017). Once in a quarter, I would set up the counseling session for each of my
employees to know if they are facing any problem in the organization and then try
resolving the issue in the best possible manner. I define empathy as a way of looking at
the problem from their perspective so that the situation can be resolved in the best
manner possible. Moreover, I personally believe that satisfied work force is the outcome
of the highly empathetic leader of the company.
