There are many factors that any major international humanitarian aid mission should put
into consideration while switching from aid and rehabilitation with an aim of achieving a
sustainable development in every environment. First, there is the number of available funds in
the organization. For instance, if there is poor housing in a particular community and there
should be an offer of a solution by a mission aid organization to the people facing the problem, it
should make sure that they have sufficient funds before the construction processes begin. The
organization should aim at building quality houses no matter the funds required in the
construction (Modoux, 2015). Basically, enough funds are needed to provide proper housing to
people which is not a simple task to the International humanitarian aid mission.
Secondly, in the process of applying ways of achieving a sustainable development, the
society’s interests should be considered greatly for example the religious community’s interests.
For instance, there is the issue of inadequate food in some African communities. An international
humanitarian can manage such a problem through population control through the use of
contraceptives (Modoux, 2015). The mission should consider the religions that do not support
the use of these contraceptives that are in form of drugs and encourage them to use other ways so
as to control the population and achieve maintainable development.
The other factor that needs to be considered is the ability to get support from other
organizations that deal with humanity. The higher the level of support, the greater the probability
of the country’s relief from various problems which include poor services of transport and
communication, insufficient foods hence making it easy to achieve development. The
organizations’ support usually consists of finances, physical labor, machines among others.
Proper infrastructural facilities encourage the execution of various economic activities which

provide revenue to the national government .The obtained revenue benefits the citizens through
the good public services like health and education which are offered by the government Spiers
2016).
Moreover, the international humanitarian aid mission ought to identify the amount of
natural resources existing within the state. In case there are many and idle resources, the aid
mission utilizes resources such as clearing all the bushes in order to get large tracts of land so as
to grow both cash crops and food crops which directly benefit the citizens (WELCH, 2016). It
reduces deaths of people out of starvation hence promoting achievement of sustainable
development. Besides, adequate foods for intake by citizens in any particular country reduce the
loans applied in order to cater for relief food.
The aid mission greatly puts into consideration the adherence to the laws and policies of
the country (NEANIDIS, 2017). The adherence to those laws enhances harmony and agreement
within the country between both the government and citizens. Eventually, there is a sense of
security and safety among citizens as they carry out activities of self-employment that have been
put across by any humanitarian aid mission since they get persuaded that the activities are not
prohibited by the state’s laws.
Finally, the aid mission ought to consider the level of population in any given country,
region or else community in order to provide the best approximations of all the required assets to
satisfy their needs. This helps to enhance equality among all citizens since they access equal
opportunities; for instance, if it's the issuance of free maize for intake, each individual should get
the same amount. In the end, there is greater unity among citizens hence improving the people’s
