SELF REFLECTION ON HUMOROUS INCIDENT
I am staying away from my parents in the hostel since I was in class 8. Initially, it was crucial
problem for me as I never used to live without my parents. During the first few days of my hostel
life, it was a nightmare for me as I was new to the hostel. I was tortured by the senior boys and
they ate my food and kept the empty packet in the refrigerator, took my books and kept my
books in a hidden place. Instead of fighting with them, I tried to make them friends of mine.
Fortunately, my tricks worked. However, I started to enjoy my hostel life. Before that, I could
remember one incident that was humorous and as well as very much scary. Suddenly, one day a
hostel mate came to know that I had Nyctophobia that is the severe fear of dark. One day due to
technical problem there was a power cut in our hostel and I screamed loudly and I told him about
my problem. He told this matter to all of my friends. They planned to keep me in a dark room
and one day they did so by turning off all the lights of my room. I screamed in fear and ran out of
my room. I was running continuously and suddenly I had a collision. I screamed louder and I
found that it was our hostel warden. The incident was very scary and funny for me.
