Annexure A
In the world full of technology, it becomes necessary for the organizations to be available
on the digital platform as well. There are many advantages associated with the same and many
platforms are presented there that can be used for such digital presence These mainly includes
websites, blogs, social media sites such as tweeter, Facebook, Instagram and so on (Sayer, 2019).
Every platform has its own advantages and limitations such as the cost involved, reach to the
targeted audience and others. For Hunger Battle Foundation (HBF) social media seems to be a
very good platform where the organization can mark its online presence. Youth these days is way
much active in the social media platform and is also interested in social works. By using social
media, an organization can inform its existence to youth and the supports the organization
demands from them. In conjunction with, the organization will also be able to get new ideas from
the youth and another group of the population that will serve the society and needy children in a
way that is more efficient.
Social media often contains shareable content.
When an organization put any information on
social sites, people share the same with others if
find suitable (Asencio, 2015). In such a manner, a
single message spread among many with the
(Epicmediainc.com, 2017) benefit of no additional cost. Further social sites
do not require high and regular maintenance such as websites. Apart from this, when an
organization goes on the digital platform it becomes global and many people started recognizing

the same, which ultimately affect the business to attain its goals. This platform allows nonprofit
organizations to connect with other like-minded organizations and supporters (Kanter and Fine,
2010). As many of the benefits are attached to the use of, social media hence it is recommended
to use this online platform for HBF.
Implementation Plan
This implementation plan has been developed to inform the way in which social media
will be used to set an online platform. The subjective plan includes strategy as well as an
expected manner of practical implementation.
Social Media Policy: - Development of social media policy would be the first step in the
direction of implementation. As the name of the policy implied, this policy would
provide guidelines for employees of the organization in respect to the standard use of
social media, the objective of such use, type of post, review of activity, the scope of use
and so on.

Training and education: - As an organization is not a natural person, therefore employees
will do the activities on behalf of it. During training, respective employees will be given
instruction on the ethical as well as legal use of social media websites. Further, technical
support can also be required for employees. At this stage, employees will understand the
practical way in which various social sites such as Facebook and Twitter can operate.
Creation of accounts:- Once the employees will be done with the training and education,
they will do the activities in actual, where they will create organization’s account on
different social media sites and will update the necessary posts and updates. This is the
most important step where the organization will reflect on the digital platform in actual.
Audit: - Audits would be required to regulate the practices. Here at this stage, the person
responsible will check that whether the organization is facing any issues while using any
of the media sites or are the posts are relevant or not. The one thing is necessary to
understand here that online platform creates an image of the organization and can also
damage the same hence it is required to ensure that organization is using these sites for
positive purpose and is making regular updates.
In a conclusive way, this is to state, that social sites seem to be the most appropriate
online channel and HBDF must use the above-mentioned implementation plan for the effective.
