The project entailed developing and delivering an effective training program for business executives regarding HVAC equipment while concurrently managing the logistics of order processing. The initiative faced challenges such as creating suitable training materials and establishing a robust system for tracking logistics data. To overcome these, extensive research on HVAC processes was conducted, leading to comprehensive material development. Additionally, a software solution was implemented to efficiently manage and track logistics information. Weekly progress reports were compiled and shared with management to ensure transparency and project alignment. CE 3.2 Project Background
CE 3.2.1 Characteristics of the project
The company Dunham-Bush has been considered to be one of the top most commercial
air conditioning manufacturers with an operating experience of more than 100 years. They
specialize in the field of heating, ventilation, air, conditioning and refrigeration. The company
had a wide range of HVAC/R products for their clients. The company work in the production of
large sized chillers, thermal storage for energy, packaged units, airside systems and unitary for
the residential users. They are also used by the commercial buildings and large industrial
facilities. I had worked at this facility to learn about their working procedure for the development
of these equipment. I had provided the business partners with the efficient amount of training
based on the technical theory.

CE 3.2.2 Objectives developed for the project
Based on the requirements of the project, I had laid out the following list of objectives to
be considered for the completion of the project:
 To provide the right amount of technical training of HVAC products for the Dunham-Bush
business partners.
 To manage the relationships and assigned business partners
 To coordinate with the factory for the understanding of the process of development of the
equipment’s.
 To analyse the final technical and commercial bids for the project.
 To coordinate the respective factory production process and status for the development of the
equipment and the logistics of the related matter.
 To ensure that all the working services are resolved with in time.
CE 3.2.3 My area of work
For the completion of the project I had worked for providing the technical training to the
individuals of the Dunham-Bush business partners for the HVAC products being developed by
the company. I had helped in the management of the relationship of the assigned business
partners of the company to ensure that they are able to meet all the contractual terms of the
project in terms of revenue and margin. I had analysed the project preparation process for the
writing of the final technical bids. I had also coordinated the logistics for ensuring the timely
delivery of the products. I had also taken care for the preparation of the reports for the
management of the open jobs on a weekly basis.

CE 3.2.5 My responsibilities throughout the project
During my time on the project I had worked for providing technical training to the
Dunham-Bush business partners on the HVAC products being developed by the company. I had
then helped for the management of the relationship among the assigned business partners of the
company. I was able to ensure that the assigned business partners of the company for the meeting
of all the contractual terms of the project along with the revenue and the margin of the project. I
had analysed the preparation of the project procedure for the writing of the final technical bids. I
had looked after the logistics of the product delivery for the timely management of the delivery
system. I had then taken care of the project report preparation of the project to be shared with my
supervisors on a weekly basis.

CE 3.3 Distinctive Activity
CE 3.3.1 Comprehending the theory of the project
Based on the requirement for the client I had planned out the complete training profile to
be taught to the Dunham-Bush business partners. They had requested me to teach them
everything about the working of an HVAC equipment module. I had completed a research based
on the requirements of the training module and produced notes and distributable pamphlets for
the training of the business partners. I was also asked to manage the relationships with the
business partners from the Middle East and North Africa regions, for the ensuring that the
contract between them was met with regards to the margin and the revenue for the program. I
had then coordinated the working with the factory for looking after the queries and the input data
for the logistics system.
CE 3.3.2 Engineering knowledge and skills applied in the project
I had applied my skills of an application engineer in the field of mechanical engineer for
the completion of this project. I had learnt the working of the HVAC equipment’s for the
teaching of the business executives and also used the process of software training for the meeting
of all the requirements of the client. I had coordinated the working of the logistics section of the
company for keeping in track of the requisitions and the deliveries coming in. I had also looked
after the various devices which is being used by the company to learn about their working patter
and procedure which helped me to complete the training of the business executives easily.
CE 3.3.3 Accomplishment and task performed
I had first learnt about the complete requirement of the client which helped me to analyse
the process for me to proceed accordingly. Once I was able to assess the amount of work that I

had been assigned with I had worked for the development of the training plan for the project.
This required a lot of learning and understanding the working procedure for the HVAC
equipment’s which helped me to gain knowledge as well as make a better understanding of all
the procedure followed. I then looked after the working of the logistics of the project. I had taken
care of asking my managers to provide me with a system which helped to keep a track of all the
requisitions and the consecutive logistics form up to the completion of the delivery of the
requisitions. On a weekly basis I would compile up the progress of the project and share the
document with my manager at the company.
CE 3.3.4 Identified issues and their solutions
3.3.4.1 Issues
I had found difficulty during my work for the making of the training materials on the
HVAC for the business executives. I had to conduct several research in order to find the perfect
teaching material for the executives. I also had a problem regarding the storing of data related to
the logistics division of the company. There was no proper way to store the data of all the
logistics coming in and being requested by the company.
3.3.4.2 Solutions
For the writing of the training materials I had conducted most of the working research on
the use and process of implementation of the HVAC equipment. I had them undergone training
of my own to know the software’s and the process followed by the company for the development
of these equipment’s. I had requested my managers to arrange for me a software where I will be
able to keep a track of all the equipment and materials being requested. All logistics data was
then stored in the software for future reference.

I had collaborated with my team members for the completion of this project. I had
compiled all the progress report for the work and trained my team so that they would be able to
train the business executives of the company on the working of the HVAC equipment’s and the
software’s being used by the company. This was to be basic requirement of the project. Apart
from this I had helped in other work at the company.
CE 3.4 Project Review
CE 3.4.1 Project Overview
The project was completed with the best effort from my team members and me. I had
thought about all the process to follow all the requirements of the client. I was able to deliver the
complete project within the deadline. The logistics of the requisition form had been cleared on
time without any delay in the working process. I had taken care of the writing of the progress
report for the manager to follow the training progress and the work I was doing for the company.
I had carried out my work of the sales enquiry, order entry, negotiations as well as meetings of
the follow up and the software and the related training.
CE 3.4.2 My contribution to work
Along with the training provision to the managers of the company on the HVAC products
being developed, I had worked in keeping the logistics for the delivery of the tenders of the
company. This ensured that there was a timely delivery of the materials requested. I had also had
a chat with the managing and interpretation of the requirements for the project. I also looked

after all the issues of the company to resolve them in less amount of time. I had worked with my
team members for the faster completion of the project. I had provided the best training to the
technicians for the training based on the software’s used in the company.
