1HYBRID AGILE PROJECT MANAGEMENT METHODOLOGY
Answer to the question no 1:
Hybrid approach in the project indicates the indulgence of the fixed time and fixed-price
approach in the project. The fixed time approach in the project indicates that the compilation of
the project has certain time-bound (Gill, Henderson-Sellers & Niazi, 2018). On the other hand,
fixed-price approach indicates that the project has fixed budget. The compilation of the project is
needed to be done within this fixed budget.
In case of HRPP program, the project has seven components which are well defined. On
the other hand the resources and the components for the compilation of the project are fixed. In
this case, fixed-price approach is suitable. However, the compilation of the project is also fixed
as this project needs the time bound so that it can start functioning at right time. In this case, time
bound approach is needed. It can be said, these characteristics of HRPP project indicates that
hybrid approach is suitable for this kind of project.
Answer to the question no 2:
Challenges faced by the project manager are-
Internal problems: These kind of problems are also known as internal problems. These
are the problems those includes the issues in the organization, misunderstanding between the co-
workers in the organization (Cooper & Sommer, 2016). Apart from that the poorly planned
project, the lack of budget and time for the compilation of the project are also considered as
internal or corporate problems.
Presence of risks: During the development of the project, the measures for the mitigation
of the risks are taken (Imani, Nakano & Anantatmula, 2017). However, risks in the project can

not mitigate entirely. In this situation the presence of the major risks can become problem for the
project manager.
Issues regarding communication: The issues or block in communication can bring
misunderstanding between the project manager and the team members. In this situation, the
development of the project can face constraints which is not desirable for the project manager.
Answer to the question no 3:
Sapient can institutionalize Rapid Application Development Model. Rapid application
development model can be beneficial for the development of the software. In this situation,
Sapient, as the leading service provider can develop tools on the basis of this approach. This will
help in the development of the software.
Answer to the question no 4:
The success of the project depends on various factors. The main two factors those are
responsible for the success of the project are-
Decision taken by project manager and management: The decision taken by management
is important for the successful development of the project (Smoczyńska, Pawlak & Poniszewska-
Marańda, 2018). The right decision will help to choose the right team for the development of the
project. Moreover, proper decision will help in the proper planning in the developing of project.
Selection of right methodology: Selecting the methodology is important for the proper
development of project. Selection of methodology is based on characteristics and the
requirement of project.
