Respected sir/ma’am,
I am very much interested to join the dental hygiene program and improve my skills and be a
competent dental professional. I have worked as a trainee under a professional dental practitioner
at a Dental health clinic where I have learnt about many dental hygiene techniques. I have got the
opportunity to work with a wide range of patients and clients that not only improved my
knowledge but also made me confident in this field. Therefore, I want to increase my knowledge
further and improve my performance that will help me in achieving my goals.
I believe that my qualification, skills and knowledge will make me an appropriate candidate for
this hygiene program. I have a passion for serving people and provide quality care to them and
therefore, I think I am suitable for taking admission to this hygiene program.
Throughout the course of my training, I have developed skills to prepare and sterilize equipment,
process impression of patient’s teeth for studying casts, educating patients or clients about
maintaining appropriate oral hygiene techniques and assessing the patients following a proper
protocol. As a person I am intuitive and I display an exemplary performance in assessing the
needs of dental patients and ensure optimum outcome by practicing adhering to the best available
practice. I have learnt techniques of cleansing and maintaining oral hygiene and successfully
educate patients and clients on the importance of maintaining oral hygiene.
My goals are to work with a highly skilled and competent healthcare team and I am now seeking
a new role and practice in a new setting to improve my expertise and skills. I like to work in
clinical settings and would like to have flexible schedule since I want to maintain a balance

between my professional and person life. I believe that it is very important for a better
performance. I am very attentive and have patience. During my practice, I will ensure that I
deliver an enhanced care to the patients and ensure their comfort during practice and the
cleansing process. Since my childhood, I wanted to become a dentist professional and wanted to
know about tools, techniques and procedure that are used in the dental care and treat oral
conditions. I always wanted to pursue my career in the dental sector and know the procedures
more vividly. I am determined and that is why, I want to join the dental hygiene program to
enhance my skills and expertise.
