1. Project Description
This project is based on developing a new online cash marketplace platform “i-Crop”
to support the existing services of Globex. In this project, a website and application will be
developed to meet the requirements of organization as well as clients. The platform will help
to bring the buyers and growers together in a single platform. This project will facilitate
convenient and easy management along with selling or buying of warehoused grain.
2. Part One: MOV - Measurable Organisational Value
2.1 Desired area of impact
Strategy: It has been identified that development of the Website and Application for i-
Crop will help to the keep track of the various type of information and details about
customers.
Customer: The development of the Website and the Application for i-Crop will help
the customers to resolve their queries and get required information. The clients will be
able to access i-Crop through any web browser or an application.
Financial: The platform that will be developed for the Globex will help the
organization to achieve desired profits and gain excellence in their business process.
The return on investment that will be achieved through the platform will be high for
the business organization.
Operational: It has been determined that the development and implementation of the
platform “i-Crop” will help to achieve the desired profit range. The development of
the platform will ensure that the operations can be easily carried out within the
business organization.

Social: The development of the platform will help to support communications
between the clients so that buyers and growers can easily communicate for buying or
selling warehoused grains.
2.2 Types of Value
Better: It has been determined that the new system will help to provide better services
to both organization as well as clients rather than the existing system. It has been
found that new system will help to enhance business operations of the organization.
Cheaper: The implementation of the new system will help to reduce the costs
associated with resource as well as materials for business operations within the
organization.
Faster: The new system will help to improve the response time required for clients
and delay in the business process due to the time required for executing activities
within the organization.

3.1 Scope definition and scope management
The scope of this project is development of a new online cash marketplace platform
“i-Crop” to support the business operations of Globex. The new system will help to bring the
buyers and growers together in a single platform.
In scope: The system will help to keep track and record details of the clients such as
Name, Contact and other relevant information so that the response time could be easily
reduced and business efficiency can be increased.

Out scope: Proper training have to be provided to the staffs for operating the new
system such that business processes can be carried out effectively and as per requirement.
Procedure for scope management: The project deliverables will be approved at

5.1 Assumptions
Budget: The budget of the project has been prepared considering the costs associated
with resources including people as well as material after analysis of the requirements.
