Cloud Computing for Smart Appliances with IBM Bluemix Report

Introduction
The objective of this project is to create the smart applications based on cloud environment
for AB pty Ltd Company. Basically, the AB pty Ltd Company is a product deliver company and
it deliver the products for customer and third parties. This company has three trucks to deliver
the products and it also has set of delivers to covers the entire region. The starting state of this
company is deliver the products five times per a day but now this company only delivers the
product is three time per a day. So, it does not provide the efficient deliver services for a
customer. The company general manager is decided to select the new business analyst to identify
and address the potential business issues in the company. The potential issues are resolved by
using the IBM blue mix services. These are will be analyzed and discussed in detail.
IBM Blue mix
To create an effective small application for AB pty Ltd Company by using the IBM blue
mix tool. Create the small applications by following the below steps,
First, user needs to create the IBM account. Then use below link to login the IBM
account by entering the Login ID and password (Breeding, 2012).

After, launch the IBM cloud to create the small application for a company by see the left
navigation pane to click the Launch IBM cloud button. Then, it open the new tab and it used to
display the IBM dash board.

Then, to create a cloud foundry application to choose the cloud foundry application by
using the dash board service list on the IBM cloud.
After, the cloud foundry application shows the small application without infrastructure
and here we will choose the SDK for a node to create the cloud foundry application without
infrastructure. This below screenshot is shows the application and host name for Cloud foundry
application (Antonopoulos and Gillam, 2017).

Once application is created, then add the database for small application to click the data
analytics from the IBM cloud service list. The data analytics is used to provide to see the third
party database also. It is shown below (Molen, 2010).
Then, choose the DATABASE MYSQL from the data analytics window and it is used to
create the new data base for small applications. The database is requires to deploy and configure
the connection by click the connection button from left navigation pane. It is displayed in below
(Cloud computing strategy, 2012).

Here, user wants to edit the configuration code file after data base deployment and
establishment completed. It is displayed in below.
After, click the DevOps service on IBM blue mix cloud to deploy and edit the code. This
is displayed in below.

The configuration code file is edited in successfully and then users wants to re - deploy
the configuration code file by click the red button the screen and it shows the pop up window to
display the re-deploy code or not. It is displayed in below (Breeding, 2012).

Here, user needs to click the OK button and the applications shows the GIT repository window.
Then, user needs to click the commit button to commit the code and it is displayed in below.
The below screenshots is used to shows the all changed file details.

Finally, the small applications created successfully and the IBM blue mix services are
display the successful acknowledgement message for a small application. This process is
displayed in below (Sadulov and Indihar Š temberger, 2016).

Business Case Scenario Analysis
Business Problems
The AB pty Ltd Company is a product deliver company and it deliver the products for
customer and third parties. This company has three trucks to deliver the products and it also has
set of delivers to covers the entire region. The starting state of this company is deliver the
products five times per a day but now this company only delivers the product is three time per a
day. So, it does not provide the efficient deliver services for a customer (Langit, 2017). So, the
company general manager decided to hire a new business analyst to identify the company
business problems and its solutions. To provide the effective solution by create the new smart
application to simulate the trucks movement. The small application is used to view the product
delivery status. The creation of small application uses the IBM Blue mix services to provide the
effective and efficient application for a company.
Possible Solutions
 The AB pty Ltd Company has business problems based on product delivery system. So, it
needs to resolved by creates the smart application by using the IBM blue mix services.
 The Geospatial analytics is used to identify the product delivery location because it is
used to communicate with the truck drivers (Smart, 2011).
 The small application also used to shows the vehicles information to identify the trucks
problem in everywhere.

The created smart application is needs to be configured and deploy the applications by using
the IBM blue mix services.

The deployment and configuration of small application is needs to create the internet of
things instance and it configured with the IoT foundation. To configure a IoT by using the
Internet platform services on IBM cloud service list. The configuration of small applications
