Semester Project: Smart Application on IBM Cloud Platform

This project details the design and development of a smart application for detecting excessive shock based on accelerometer and orientation data from a phone sensor, undertaken for AB private limited. The project utilizes IBM Bluemix, IBM Node-RED, and the IBM Watson IoT platform dashboard. The solution includes step-by-step configuration and deployment instructions for IBM Node-RED and the Watson IoT platform, including creating a sensor simulator, Node-RED flow, and a dashboard. The project also covers difficulties encountered, such as code editing and application configuration, and concludes with a successful implementation of shock detection and data analysis, which is visualized using charts on the IBM Watson IoT platform dashboard. The application effectively receives and analyzes accelerometer values, providing alerts when acceleration exceeds a threshold.
