strategies that can be used by organisations for talent management such as rewards, recognition,

successfully help an organisation to attract experienced and talented workforce and retain them.
Iceland foods Ltd. Is organisation on which this research is conducted.
Overview of the Organisation:
Iceland foods Ltd is a supermarket chain dealing in retail sector. The company was
founded by Sir Malcolm Walker in the year 1970. it is headquartered in Wales. There are a
number of frozen meals sold by company including prepared vegetables and meat. The company
also deals in some non-frozen items such as grocery, dairy products and so on. It is necessary for
company to take care of their employees and make sure that they are effectively retaining
talented employees in the organisation. There are a number of strategies that company uses in
order to make sure that they are effectively using talented management to retain and train
employees in the organisation.
Project aim:
“To analyse the importance of various talent management strategies in order to attract and
retain talented people within business”. A study based upon Iceland Foods Ltd

in developing various strategies to retain workforce. According to discussion Job Rotation is the
best strategy that can be used by company as it helps to successfully bring confidence and

It was a great opportunity to investigate on importance of talent management and
strategies business uses in order to retain and attract talented people in their organisation. In
order to achieve this objective I have successfully used various methods such as primary and
secondary methods. For primary method a questionnaire was used. There were different
difficulty in relation to get better information which is there able to collect the right information
that can help me in primary research. While completing this project I have successfully worked
on my research skills, improvement of my communication skills and also formal writing skills.
These are the skills which are there able to help me out in my future work and also in my
professional life. There are different skills needed to learn which are there described along with
timelines. However some time issues were faced by me and in order to successfully overcome
those I prepared a Gantt Chart which helped me in timely completion of my work. This can help
me out in learning and achieving all my related skill which I want to learn and improve in certain
period of time. All the objectives of report were successfully attained by conducting required

Conclusion:
With the help of all the information mentioned it can be concluded that most of the
employees are aware about the concept of talent management. There are a number of different
strategies that can be successfully used by a business in order to attract and retain workforce.
Various such strategies includes opportunities of continuous improvement, collaborate-coach-
evolve, recognitions and rewards. All these strategies will help to retain employees and also
achieve organisational objective successfully.
Limitations:
Certain limitations while conducting the research includes the time limit to finish the
research. Other than this lack of some resources and behaviour of participants have also affected
the research.
Recommendations:
The above research helps in understanding the importance of talent management for an
organisation. Some recommendations for Iceland Foods are:
Company must regularly provide reward and recognition to its employees in order to
keep them motivated and encouraged.
